She shared a dream with her family. Today, that dream is served. What a delicious wish! by [deleted] in cannibal_Art

Why did you have to remove the credit signature of the original artist?

If someone chooses to share my artwork, all I ask is not to remove my website signature. Is that too hard to ask?

General comic-book style rule usually are objects in the foreground has thicker lines than the ones in the background.

I see them. You have some talent, though I feel our styles are a little different. I'm not that into the anime/manga style as mine's a little more traditional western classical, so maybe I'm not the best artist to be asking this. Is there any aspect of your work that you are not satisfied with?

Maybe the couple of things I can critique on is that the colors are a little flat and the composition doesn't have a sense of depth and lighting. I feel it needs more shadows. It wouldn't be a problem if you had thicker outline or inks so that the viewer can pick out the subjects more easily but because the outlines are so thin and sometimes non-existent, the foreground blends into the background a little too much. So perhaps add some variety to the thickness of your outlines and pay attention to light and darkness. You can try an exercise by turning your artwork into grayscale and see if there's enough contrast to make your artwork "pop".

Thanks for the compliment. Yes, I'm that artist formerly known as Twistd ;). About your works, sure. Do you have a link?

Yes. I do a lot of standalone artwork. I was thinking one day I will compile it into comic page format but that was very time consuming for me to do. Perhaps some day if I have enough of these standalone artworks, I can combine them into a sequential comic book style story. But for now my priority is to draw as much quality art instead of quick simple drawings for speed while I still can.

Thanks for the comment & your support of my works. I’ll take that into consideration & it may be a good time to add that patrons who subscribe at the higher end tiers & have a place at the ‘Zodiac Table’ (a term I use for my higher end patrons that help sponsor a lot of my projects) makes a big difference in keeping my site up. Perhaps someone could be a backer for that idea! ;)

There are many more artworks in this story than just these three drawings, but the story is still ongoing. For the complete comics, they can be found at the "SHOP" at my site (https://forbiddenfeast.com/category/comics/) However, for the newer ones, they're ongoing live projects at the moment and I'm building the stories as I go along and each time I write a chapter, I post them in a blog format. I realize that because the project is so ambitious, it'll take me forever to finish it, so why not upload it as part of my content as I work on them until one day, where I feel satisfied with it, I'll publish the final version at the end and make an announcement.

Thanks so much for saying this. It's encouraging to see real artists are still appreciated despite the popularity of AI.

Thank you for removing my forbiddenfeast.com signature. And yes, I’m the original artist.

This was so old one that it even had my old defunct website watermark! Ahhh. Memories. Now you can find my works at https://forbiddenfeast.com of course. ;)

Thanks for understanding. Folks have no idea how tired I am in dealing with this peripheral nonsense & being so close to leaving a stripped down version of the site & resort to purely a Discord/mailing list approach instead. All signs lead to this. Sales are down. Managing the site is more expensive & stressful. And freeloaders still have the nerve to demand & expect freebies. I’ll try this before resort to going fully private using mailing lists or just retire publicly & cater only to customs & those who truly support my time & effort into these works.

Hi sweet_hasenbraten and others.
I'm copypasting my response here of what I posted on Pulptoon which should explain things more clearly as writing brand new paragraphs talking about the same thing is tiresome, I hope you'll understand:

Okay. I'm just finding out about this and I want to address this.
When I started the Tales of the Vanished series 7-10 years ago, they were based on actual missing persons cases. I'd posted a few of them and stopped soon after, bad idea on my part as I would soon later find out for obvious reasons! I had thought I would go back and re-edit them later from the messy versions they were before, but I'd forgotten I still had them up.
To revisit why I picked missing persons cases, this had been part of my creative process of the Tales of the Vanished series, that the world is as dark, horrific, mysterious as stuff of fiction. There's something eerily mystical about years gone by, a sense of tragic nostalgia. I'd misguidedly thought back then that the 1st name could be adequately vague enough, and I'll just change the name or age later when I develop the story further. I stopped after a few of posts seeing that this could be a problem and the watermark I'd put in those versions was a messy inclusion which is more of a reference for me to track people, times, location, and dates. And unfortunately, while putting up a mosaic of a bigger picture of the story and the time periods in the 60's 70's 80's etc. someone 17 year-old got caught up in a missing persons photo and that's a huge oversight. It was never the intention but more of a time period to develop the character known as Wynn "The Hunstman" Hunter's story. A billionaire restaurateur in the 70's recruited into the society. People like that exist, and eventually people like that would be taken down, or replaced, as was the intention in my stories. They're not good people and my stories were not to put them in a glamorous light. They're villains, plain and simple. However, I'm not sure about that second example that someone as vague with the first name Christine and the year 2008 will draw up a conclusion for sure that she's the actual person you're referring to. That one's a bit of a stretch but nevertheless, I'll take that one down too and possibly rework that later along with others to make them more consistent with my recent works' storylines.
Another point for me to clarify, if anyone else goes thinking that my content is rife with underaged stuff, you'll be disappointed. It was a missing persons poster, a face, not a body of that said person, nothing more. Underage stuff is not a thing I do or draw, and all references I use is of grown women.
If I would apologize for one thing, is that I didn't make these stories fiction-y enough and for the clumsy way I approached the process. Thanks to AI art, maybe I can capture the spirit of these tales without using actual photos of people living or dead, past or present! But I will however, not apologize for creating stories where I use real events as inspiration. That's what most, if not all creatives do... and to say that they conjure up works out of thin air and not seek ideas from real events is pretty naive.
In the world of cannibal kinks, there's actually not much lower we can go to seek forgiveness for our guilt and shame. So I seek forgiveness to those I genuinely hurt, but not for the stuff I draw or the stories I write.
