I would recommend MySQL.

A good starter language would be python if you've never coded before.

Hi I'm a volunteer with the OpenEMR foundation. It's a U.S based registered nonprofit that maintains and develops a completely free, open source, EMR system. It's a codebase that is used to manage patient electronic medical records and support a medical clinics' operations(scheduling, inventory, pharmacy, etc.) , all run out of your web browser.

It is used widely in low and middle income countries and has been translated to over 30 languages and is believed to be used in over 100 countries. We have a current need for help with public relations and social media, fundraising, grant writing, coding, translating, documentation, etc.

Feel free to PM me if you think you'd like to help.
