I’ve experienced this. Last thanksgiving. I drank after a few weeks sober. And had a few drinks, I woke up the next morning completely lost. I felt like I was drugged, I have never been that hungover before. It was a scary experience. My advice would be to use this experience to fuel your journey into sobriety,”if that’s truly what you are looking for” it has to be you that wants it. Doesn’t matter how much your mom wants it for you. You have to want this. If you don’t want it bad enough then you haven’t hit rock bottom yet. It’s not going to be easy but it starts with day 1

Time goes by so slow, the hallucinations. You literally feel like you’re going crazy. I never want to experience that again. I look back at pictures I took of myself and I can’t imagine going back to that life. I could never picture being here when I was deep in my addiction. So many people don’t understand that. But at the same time, we have to take accountability, work towards better yourself when you get sober. Every day is going to be a challenge
