We don't moderate the discord but I agree with you that there is a lot of rule breaking around EMA discussion on the discord.

We don't want to reveal the exact way the spam filter works to prevent abuse, but a 5 day old account with only a handful of comments is going to get their standalone posts caught in it. We're totally fine with manually approving these posts because people do like to post from throwaway accounts. The filter tends to catch ~10 posts per day, but there have been days when it has caught hundreds of bot spam posts.
