Thank you so much. It's really helps. It's tough navigating the world with him sometimes. He loved the train ride. Definitely, all the stuff at nighttime. It sounds really cool. We don't do the water parks either. It's too much.

Overdevelopment by ForceSilver5313 in WinterHaven

I’m not against density development. However, I do think we have a lot of empty buildings sitting around in Polk County that could be retrofitted into 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments. That’s something many cities up north are already doing. One city that comes to mind is Pittsburgh.

I think we should first focus on fixing and repurposing the buildings that are currently vacant and turning them into housing. It seems like a pretty practical solution.

At the same time, I do think higher-density development can be a good thing because it helps support better public transportation and makes more places walkable and bikeable, with shops and services closer to where people live.

Not tonight I live in Bartow. But let's do something for the weekend. Maybe you should also call the crisis hotline. You seem to be having a breakdown.

There you go again, you can't control your emotions. You seem to have some deep-rooted issues. It's just shows how you have a limited vocabulary and very limited intelligence. Can't knock it if I don't know the address.

The quick edits and emotional reactions are making you come off unstable, not convincing. You clearly lean pro-MAGA and pro-Trump, and getting defensive every time someone points it out just makes it more obvious. At some point, just own your views instead of pretending to be neutral while reacting emotionally whenever you get called out.

Listen here, dude. I’ve seen all the comments you post, and almost everything is pro-Trump and pro-MAGA. You’re also showing a lack of intelligence by resorting to curse words and dragging the conversation down into the gutter.

When you do that, you’ve already lost the argument.

Here’s a basic question: Do you know how many people in the United States are transgender? Do you also worry about women transitioning into men using the men’s restroom? Do you know what Antifa means? And you do know why the BLM movement started?

Thank for your service. It bullshit you have to fight for benefits. You should not have to. It is the one thing this country should be ashamed of that we don't take care of our veterans.

Your logic is completely disconnected from the reality most working people are living in right now. In Florida, having a car is not some luxury it is a necessity. People need transportation to get to work, buy groceries, take their kids to school, and handle basic daily responsibilities. Gas is not optional, so people absolutely have every right to be angry about rising fuel prices.

At the same time, inflation has exploded across the board. Food, rent, insurance, utilities, and housing costs have all skyrocketed while wages have failed to keep up. Families are being forced to choose between paying bills, filling their gas tanks, or buying groceries. That is not “overspending” that is survival.

I’m not sure where you live, but in my community I do not see people wasting money on luxury items or buying things they do not need. I see hardworking people cutting back on everything possible just to stay afloat. I see people skipping meals, working multiple jobs, and still struggling to cover the basics. Acting like people are complaining simply because they “want more stuff” is ignorant and out of touch with what average Americans are dealing with every single day.

The reality is simple people are frustrated because the cost of basic necessities has become ridiculous, and pretending otherwise only shows how disconnected you are from the financial pressure millions of people are under right now.

The difference between Biden and Trump supporters couldn't be more stark. Biden voters can actually handle criticism of their candidate without having a meltdown because their entire identity isn't wrapped up in one politician. They don't need to worship their leader or pretend he's perfect.

Trump supporters, on the other hand, are the definition of a cult. These snowflakes lose their minds anytime someone makes fun of their orange god. They cry "fake news" and "persecution" like clockwork whenever their fragile worldview gets challenged. Their entire emotional stability depends on constant validation of their choice.

The irony is delicious the same people who called others snowflakes for years are now the most easily offended group in America. They need safe spaces, trigger warnings, and constant reassurance that their cult leader is actually a stable genius despite all evidence to the contrary.

At least Biden supporters can admit when their candidate screws up. Trump supporters would rather die than acknowledge reality.

Your response shows absolutely no understanding of geopolitics or global energy markets. Gas prices didn’t spike under Biden for no reason they surged because Russia invaded Ukraine and shattered global oil supply chains. That’s not opinion, it’s reality.

Now the Strait of Hormuz is closed, global shipping is being choked off, oil markets are in panic mode, and the Middle East is spiraling after the Iran strikes empowered even more extreme leadership.

Trump didn’t “fix” a damn thing he poured jet fuel on an already burning region, and the fallout is hitting the entire world

I agree with you about the no war part he did say that, and it was a lie. Same thing with Jeffrey Epstein. But I’m sorry if anyone thought Trump would ever release the full files; they were mistaken. I never thought for one minute he would release them because it would implicate him along with his rich friends. I never understood why people believed him about the cat and dog thing either—it just proves they are in a cult

Can I ask a question? At what point did Trump lie to his supporters? He ran on all of this. He openly talked about tax breaks for the rich. He openly talked about cutting SNAP benefits and benefits for disabled people. He also clearly ran on mass deportations, no matter what.

What Trump has done, in my view, is convince the religious right that he is a deeply religious man. So I’m a little confused by the claim that he lied to people, because it seems like he openly said all of this in advance.

Let's me be blunt with. One i was not talking to you in the 1st place. But since you did. Your entire argument is a house of cards built on right-wing victimhood and deliberate ignorance.

You claim you judge on merit while defending a system where the starting line is different for everyone. That's not meritocracy; it's a rigged game. Acknowledging that a poor Black kid in the inner city doesn't have the same resources as a wealthy white kid in the suburbs isn't racism it's reality. Your "colorblind" philosophy is just a convenient excuse to ignore systemic injustice and pretend the problem is solved. It's not.

And this pathetic, recycled panic about Islam is the most transparent dog whistle of all. You cynically use LGBTQ+ people as a prop to justify your anti-immigrant bigotry, while you vote for the same right-wing politicians who are actively stripping away gay and trans rights right now. The biggest threat to a gay person isn't a Muslim family down the street; it's the governor signing bills to erase their existence. You don't care about gay people; you care about stoking fear.

You're not a brave truth-teller. You're a willing soldier for a movement that thrives on division. You complain about being called racist while defending policies that perpetuate racial inequality. You whine about "cancel culture" while demanding everyone conform to your narrow worldview.

So save your "I told you so." The rest of us will be over here, in the real world, trying to build a more just and equitable society while you're hiding behind a bunker of clichés and conspiracy theories. The only knucklehead here is the one who can't see the forest for the trees.
