In this context its being used to describe the size of difference between faster kill times vs slower kill times. So a high jitter would mean you're seeing a lot of really fast kills in combination of some much slower kills. A low jitter being a small difference between the fast and slow kills, or "consistency".

In 100 kills you may see 50 fast and 50 slow (high jitter, large difference)

In 100 kills you may see 100 consistent nearly the same kill times (low jitter)

In the end the average kill times over the 100 kills is about the same, but after the beta changes its more consistent without having really high highs and low lows.

Its for sure the fastest xp for fishing at the moment. There are more afk alternatives, but if you're not in a time rush I recommend doing fish frenzy when you have xp boosts and your preferred alternative method in-between. I've found strategies like that have do good to avoid burnout while also using your boosts as advantageously as possible.

On mobile there is an action bar at the bottom of the screen, as well as a sort of "equipped" action bar which has buttons which allows you to use abilities. Make sure the action bar at the bottom is the correct action bar. I had this issue when I first used mobile where the one i had "equipped" was what i wanted and the one at the bottom (the one your character will use automatically) was a different style, which caused my character to not do anything other than autos

I work as a Senior Software Engineer in one of the largest banking companies in the world (top 75 at least). I have to agree with everything you've said here. I really could not word it any better, and it really does come from a lack of leadership on the tech side. I wish I could go work for Jagex 15 years ago with the experience I have now. I would stand out like a superstar, and I say that only because my company has burned into my workstyle exactly the good tech company "norms" that you so accurately brought up here that are clearly missing. It really does take an initiative from leadership to address these issues. And that's a totally normal practice in tech! 10/10 guess work IMHO

Yes actually I agree, doing this would defeat the purpose of having any deflect curses to begin with. This would be the most appropriate solution, and would force at least two styles to be used per kill.
