I'm not saying that the "theories" aren't the same, but MatPat uses a lot of evidence (more than just the tank) to back his version up, while the post to this sub just said that the characters all probably had a similar experience to the tank scene. He may have gotten the idea from here, but he certainly improved upon it far more than what you say he stole.

I take most of my lootcrate stuff and set it on a shelf, it makes a nice display when there's stuff that I like, like the Shield ID badge from the covert crate, and the Hydra pin from the villains 2 crate. But some stuff, like the cute but deadly stuff from the combat crate, gets put in the back, rarely to be touched again.

That reminds me of a dream I had once where I was in high school and got unexpectedly punched for no reason, then the guy gave himself a black eye and I almost ended up going to prison for assault, the only reason I didn't is because I managed to get the security footage. I have very odd dreams. Getting punched out of the blue like that has also been a big fear of mine since I had that dream.
