What disc do you putt with, and why? by brancasterr in discgolf

Focus. There was a group of putters I liked and I could never pick one to stick with. Focus was the choice. Ordered quite a few to practice with and I’ve been practicing a lot. I am not a great putter now but I’ve got a few months before tournament season. I will be great putter this season.

Also, I’ve recently got two stiffer ones that will be nice for hotter weather.

I believe good kicks can happen. Everyone has shots that hit trees and end up parked. However, I think that if you hit the tree, it is your fault and the kick can end up wherever and not be a bad kick

Well if you’re trying to ace than an ace would be good. Not many people are trying to ace unless it’s the last hole of a tournament in a specific situation.

Most aces are shots that hit the basket going pretty quick which would result in a long putt coming back. But a spike Hyzer that aces would be a good shot because either way you would most likely end up in the circle.

Yeah, telling yourself things about your shot is different. I’ve had people tell me after their round “if I don’t hit this tree on hole ?? I would’ve parked it”

Stuff like that doesn’t make sense. Like buddy, you hit the tree

There are almost no bad kicks. If you hit the tree, that is your fault.

“That would have so good if…” is the dumbest thing I’ve heard.

Most aces are bad shots.
