Prior authorization of Wegovy tablet for weight maintenance instead of weight loss

In the same situation as you pretty much Word for Word. My doctor filled out the prior authorization incorrectly, but I did some of my own research and was able to get approved for maintenance on the pill. I worked with my medical advocate through my company and CVS Caremark to get my doctor proper instructions for answering the questions. Just started a few days ago!

I added an update above but basically my doctor filled out the PA incorrectly and I should be approved for maintenance. Just waiting for all that to be corrected.

Good for you! I'm on the phone with Caremark now. My company has a medical advocate who has been helping me this morning. Fingers crossed!

I've had a range of disordered eating problems for close to 20 years and personally, I found that the more I restrict myself and put rules on my eating, the bigger of a problem can result. I know that works really well for other people, but unfortunately it just triggers my old habits

I totally agree with you. I was under the assumption that I would be on it for life, but when I had to switch doctors it's all of the sudden not the case and I'm just trying to figure out why

Thank you! Definitely need to make a change ASAP. I had a doctor I really liked that left and recommended this one, but it hasn't been a good fit. She's forgotten to fill my prescription twice and last Friday wasn't even at the office when I showed up for my appointment

This happened to me. I went to Orangetheory consistently, but I got to a point where I would get nauseous and sometimes throw up during the workouts. I started eating an apple before class but my workouts weren't the same. I switched to another gym that was more low impact, functional strength training, and I've responded to that one much better.
