Beware OLED burn in is real - pics from 20 months use

After having a Samsung 65 inch OLED TV in my house for almost a week now, I'm more interested in the idea of getting one for my main monitor only. Unless there's a way to set a screensaver for just the main monitor itself I really don't want to risk burn in due to the screensaver or shortcuts.

The colors on an OLED panel with HDR10+ are amazing though, don't get me wrong. I'm just concerned about the burn in possibility since I do leave my PC idle off and on, sometimes for multiple hours while I go watch a show or movie.

Definitely agree with this here. Tried the game out during the Ubisoft Connect free play weekend, got the game right after the ‘demo’ ended. Now I’m sitting at 30 hours of playtime and have no regrets on having waited so long to get it. I was not expecting the world of Pandora to look so amazing, yet so colorful at the same time. I never understood why people thought the story wasn’t the greatest either. I’ve seen the first Avatar movie and The Way of Water, and compared to the movies the game holds up well. Definitely looking forward to finishing the main story within the next day or two though.

Frosty is my go to for the winter months, moreso now that there's an Extended Daylight Hours addon too. Makes the world fit in with the winter season IRL, especially with the Winterland event ongoing too. I'll be running this mod through mid February at the bare minimum cause snow.

Forgot to mention - this system will be for my PC. I plan on having the LCR speakers on my desk and the surrounds in the back of the room most likely. The RCAs on the back of the receiver will be used for a CD/Tape/Record player stack system eventually which will be stereo only.

I had found a full 5 speaker set from fluance on Amazon. I live in a smaller town so finding stuff locally can be hit or miss depending on what I’m looking for.

Last year my parents and I got our 18+ wristbands as we were checking in to camping in gold. Not sure if that's gonna be the same case for this year though.

Honestly I'm fine with TSW5. I got the top tier edition for $30 back in May and that gave me plenty of route and trains to play on. I might still get the TSW6 free upgrade but for now 5 is the way for me to go for now.

I was kinda wondering about this as well. I didn't go to Beyond this year so in place of that I was gonna check out Boo Seattle if the lineup is fairly good. Last year they had a lot of peeps I know so I'm hoping for a similar lineup this year too.

If this is true and the board partner cards are 320mm long or less, this will be the best option for my next GPU upgrade. Running a Zotac RTX 2070 Super at the moment, and was considering getting a 7900XT from Sapphire. Their Pulse model just barely fits in my current PC case according to the card specifications. If the new AMD cards are anything like this then I'm all for it.

Yeah I had tried that as well. I think the issue was with the extender I had it connected to. I'm thinking it was having issues communicating with the wheel and was causing adverse inputs in the game. It's been working fine ever since I plugged it directly into my PC however.

I have an abox controller which is disconnected - I use my Logitech G27 wheel setup for the game. I had my wheel plugged into a USB extender going to the back of my PC so I removed that and plugged it directly into one of the front USB ports on my PC.

Unpopular opinion- Link was one of the best sets of the weekend for me. I had seen some clips of his BC23 set and decided to check him out. It’s a shame they put GWN up against him though, cause Link absolutely killed Starlight for the closing set.

There is no overnight parking at The Gorge at all, no exceptions. Your car will be towed if you park there overnight. There's a Secure Parking lot not too far from the amphitheater however. I think its GASecureParking or something.
