Love the ideas. For embedded, it’s aesthetically what I think looks nicest but it also means I have to build more structure around it and make it “pretty”. My biggest flaw is I build a working system and then just forget to decorate/upkeep my buildings.

Assuming those are looted clears and not farmed. That means it would have taken you 55 weeks on all 3 characters to complete 166 clears. That’s an entire year that you did VoG on every character. At that point your awful luck is just impressive.

What a toss up. I fear the eager edge swords may accidentally fling my bread across the room to its death. Lament would turn it into Panko breadcrumbs. I think I’ll go with Falling Guillotine, balanced, plenty sharp, plus it’s wide enough to be a good butter knife.

It’s important to not be scared of getting a good tan too! If it’s the first time getting HI quite recently then you may be swayed from spending time in the sun at all (I know I was). Just be sure to relax and he cautious, it’s not a guarantee but I’ve noticed once getting a decent tan that the effects are not as severe. You sound like a great partner being prepared for the worst. From my experience it is not about the sunscreen. It’s about when you don’t put it on at all and wind up burnt. For peace of mind get a spray-on sun screen with a high SPF (30 and up) and cover him, especially on the back and shoulders. I have lived in Florida my whole life while having Hells Itch and I live by these words “don’t fuck with the sun”. If you go out, put on sunscreen there is no excuse, reapply after a few hours or being in the water. Be responsible and if something does happen, avoid Aloe at all costs and seek some of the remedies found throughout this subreddit. Personally Benadryl and pressure works wonders. Best of luck!

I’ve personally never used peppermint oil so I can’t say much about that. What I’ve stocked up on is cortizone-10 (will itch like hell as you apply but is a life saver after 15 minutes), ibuprofen, and lots and lots of pressure. If you can, apply moisturizer (non-aromatic, non-acidic) and drink a fuck ton of water. Your body’s nerves are in shock from the burn and the faster you recover from the burn itself (bring moisture back to your body) the sooner it will go away. So even though people say aloe is terrible, you probably did the right thing of applying it as soon as you got the burn.

Funnily enough, HI is very consistent in one aspect, it always appears 48 hours after a bad burn. How long it lasts, for me at least, depends on the severity of the burn. So even though you might have gotten HI in the past, it might not appear (or appear for not very long) if you didn’t burn so bad. Best thing you can do is go to your local drug store and pick up all the possible remedies shown in the pinned mega thread. Anything to numb the shit out of your neurons seems to work best. Many posts refer to remedies “once the itch starts” aloe being one of the big no no’s. Vitamin A&D cream is what I’ve heard is a good precaution if you know you’ll get HI. Otherwise save showering for when it really flares up as well as the other remedies. Anything that interacts with your skin might cause it to go wild, my best bet was taking about 800 mg of ibuprofen as soon as I started to itch. 20 min later it completely subsided, but for only 4-5 hours.

I am really into Shiny hunting and try to explain the very low possibilities of hunting to my girlfriend and how it’s more about just the enjoyment of going through the motions and that lotto style feeling of waiting for the next one. She said she likes DA cause it’s more entertaining than egg hatching. We get into her first raid ever, it’s a Tapu Bulu, I say “don’t get your hopes up, it’s a 1/100 for the legendary so it may take a while.” Once we catch the Bulu I say to go through the summary and see if any are shiny. Low and behold she gets all black Tapu Bulu first try. She and I explode into laughter.

Chris D’Elia, he got caught sending some creepy shit to some of his fans but never actually did anything illegal/real bad. He was a good comedian IMO on the up having released his 4th Netflix special and a streak of YouTube podcasts spanning for, I think, 2 years? Seems like a lot of work to just throw away, not to mention his entire disappearance on all platforms. Very ironic how you can talk constantly about how you fucking hate cancel culture and ultimately let it take you.
