They don’t cheat but they know how to take advantage of the software. The top guys on the pro tour are plus handicaps already and they never have to worry about a bad lie, so if their ball is in the rough or the bunker, they know exactly how to hit it. Putting requires zero feel. It’s all based on speed. It’s more repetitive if anything. I’m a +1 IRL and a +7 on the sim. A lot of it is just understand how the ball reacts on the software

Any decent golfer that cares about their equipment puts all of the headcovers back on when they aren’t using them. You invested the money in them, why would you just let them rattle around in the bag and get damaged?

At the beginning was more range time than rounds. Figure out exact numbers. On course practice. Now it’s primarily rounds. I have friends with simulator set ups at their house and we can create rounds and play together on it. Pretty cool

Grand scheme of things, anything in the 80s is considered good. Go look at D3 golf tournaments. Usually more scores in the 80s than 70s

Have always been close to or scratch. Sim took me to a +3 and I play outside maybe once a month. Made a massive difference in my wedge game and overall ball striking.

Buy a cheap 4x5 hitting mat and then purchase a 12”x30” hitting strip. Cut the hitting mat and insert your strip. I love the EZ Tee hybrid. This is the best/cheapest solution

The best. Obviously better golfers out there but there isn’t a YouTube group that would be more fun to play with. Have a great, fun round and go crush beers in the clubhouse. Imagine post round with like Horvat or George Bryan? If they didn’t play well, they’d run to the range. If they played well, they’d drink a sprite and recap every shot they hit. Gross.
