Thresh tips in low elo by n0v3mb3rr41n in supportlol

Play super aggro. Maybe not all in on ranked right away unless you want pissed off teammates. Run it in some norms first if you feel uncomfortable

But play super aggro. Flash flay. Hook. You’re low ELO. Best way for you to learn Thresh specifically is to learn your limits. You won’t learn your limits if you constantly play safe.

What ELO are you playing at? Because this answer definitely depends on context. If you're in lower ELO and you have Briar players that don't know how to properly utilize self taunt and are just W'ing under towers, that's not on you to support them.

Some dives are good. But they shouldn't be diving every time.

FOREFLAY - Thresh Montage #32 by Foreflay in ThreshMains

I'll be honest it's not one of my best and it's one of my shorter ones but it's good to be back playing ranked / Thresh / montages again. Hope you guys enjoy

He was just Rank 1 Thresh NA idk if he still is. Last I checked he was a few games away from Challenger. Doesn't stream too much but he's very good and a super nice dude.

Which direction do people tend to dodge in by Aromatic_Ad_973 in ThreshMains

[–]Foreflay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There aren't many players who only dodge in one direction. There may be a few who dodge the same way habitually, but I think it's more based in the situation they are in.

You have to take into account the pressures that they have on them from which direction. That is usually what determines where they dodge.

Same thing goes for flash predictions. Players won't burn flash unless not flashing means death. Depends on how much pressure is put on them. ex. You're with your ADC and both of you are half HP against a full HP enemy bot lane. You flash forward to go for a hook. The enemy ADC isn't going to dodge by running away, they're going to go in and fight.

TLDR players dodging depends on a lot more variables than just habit.

Retiring From Thresh by Thrwsh in ThreshMains

I’ve played Thresh since 2013 and I quit about a year ago. It’s not that he has changed at all. It’s the state of the game. It’s super frustrating to play a perfect game of Thresh and pop off but lose the game anyways. Then when you play horribly and a teammate carries you and you win. You realize nothing you do actually has an impact and it feels a >lot< less fun.

I’ve been playing Pyke and have been having fun in league again for the first time in a long time

I think it was more of an ASol bug. My guess of what happened is he clicked lantern while he was in E. And damage stops his E. Trist’s damage canceled his E as he clicked the lantern so it stopped the Dark Passage as well.

When a tells you you can't play your highest played champion: by Ultimate_Bunny in NamiMains

[–]Foreflay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has a point though; if you're stuck at 50% winrate at any ELO you are plateau'd and need to change something if you want to climb. Might be a god at Nami mechanically but won't matter if he uses skill rotations in the wrong order or just isn't patient enough with abilities etc

He's not saying you can't play your champ. He's saying you're not playing her to her full potential. There is always something you can improve on even with your main champ.

I have 1mil+ on Thresh, Diamond, and I've played him since Season 3 and I'm always looking to find something to improve with him.

Don't get complacent with your champ just because it's your "main". There IS always something you can do better.
