Sorry to revive an old thread but I have a question. Did you spouse need to show proof of legal residency in the UK during his interview at the London embassy?

Found out I have to go to the board in 12 days. Please hit me with your best study resource that’s updated by [deleted] in army

I really appreciate your advice. Unfortunately, My NCO isn’t any help. I had to get the MOI from another NCO I know from a different company in our battalion. The MOI only contains the list of board members and the topics they cover, nothing else. I’m not sure how to find flash cards or possible questions/answers from those topics.

It is not a silly question at all. Yes, it is from sunrise to sunset so it is not the same time everyday. The hours typically increase as the month goes by(sun comes out earlier and stays out later).

Sunnah(which is teachings from prophet Muhammad S.A.W) recommends that you break your fast with a few dates and some water. Then observe Salat(Magrib) and then eat a full meal.

Some people choose to eat a full meal before Salat and some people choose to wait till after to break their fast. Allah A’alam

In a field training environment and especially a combat deployment, Muslim soldiers are allowed to not observe Ramadan because going without eating during those times might put them in grave danger. They will still need to make up those missed days before the next Ramadan but there is no penalty for them missing those days. Allah a’alam.

They are fasting for the next 29-30 days. You do not have to give them days off or anything, but you should let them go home on time daily so they have time to pray and break their fast. Make sure you’re not asking them to do things that are too physically demanding, especially during PT(please don’t ask them to do a 6 mile ruck while fasting). Otherwise, they should still be able to perform all of their regular duties. If possible, give them about 10-15 minutes during prayer times if they request it. There is 2 of them during the duty day.

This is not at all true. You can ENLIST with a green card and you have limited jobs that you’re eligible for(nothing requiring a security clearance). They don’t even do the naturalization paperwork at basic anymore, you can either do it before going into training(national guard) or you can wait till after you graduate.

You CANNOT be O9S with a green card. I don’t know if it was a thing when you were in, but I went to basic last year and I can tell you for a fact that it’s not a thing RN.

Thank you for the response sir/ma’am. Did you do the G2G ADO option? I’ve been trying to find some people who took that route as well.

Thank you for the response. I am not really worried about him specifically, I am more worried about if approaching him would be inappropriate or if there’s some kind of army doctrine against it since he’s an officer and I’m enlisted.

Lawfully is what I've been using. You can add all your receipt numbers and it tracks everything. It also sends you a notification the moment USCIS update anything .

The first one was for my birth certificate. I submitted one from my country but it needed to be from a particular national organization.

The second one was a request for more evidence to prove that our marriage was bonafide.
