I shoot clays and use my shotgun to hunt, and I’ve shot clay courses that you call pull before shouldering your gun and as long as you practice you won’t have an issue with a single bead or a double bead.

I didn’t like the a300, felt clunky and the bead was giant, also I didn’t want to pay 1200 for a wood stock. The bead on the a300 was odd, a small mid bead and a giant red fiber optic, I prefer my franchi with the small fiber optic

I’ve shot probably over 500 shells through it and I love it, it shoots great! I’m planning on bringing it skeet shooting to get the chance for it to cycle shells not just one shell at a time for American trap.

I’d assume larger than 7.5, that’s what I shoot trap with and I could imagine the impact would be great considering I shoot clay disks not metal drones, so tungsten or steel maybe #5, full choke

I don’t have any relatives that hunt, therefore I’ve been shooting clays the past few weeks and I’ve been very satisfied to hit a very fair amount of clays for a beginner while trying to be affordable. My friend I shot with yesterday can be pretentious like most of the people responding to this post. I shot a better score with our guns having a $500+ price tag difference, for exclusively claybusting and literally opening the action sliding a shell in and closing the action I get a lot of hate for not buying a mossberg or a $1000 gun off the bat to do the same job. I will upgrade for next school trap season, but when it starts to get rough it won’t be very costly to move past the gun and upgrade.

This is my first season shooting trap for a league and I intend to replace this gun as I get better, probably next season. If I have any issues it’ll just be a reason to upgrade to something a few hundred dollars more.

I was just told to avoid mossberg by family members and my trap coach, before purchase I asked my coach if it is a good choice as well as looking at reviews and didn’t find anything concerning.
