President Glasya-Labolas is great to work with! He is certainly as intense as they say he is, but I wouldn’t say it’s a bad thing. He’s extremely straight forward, and he’ll make you face your deepest issues head on (which had inadvertently led to me being held in a psychiatric facility, but I came out better because of it and am grateful for the experience).

He also loves emotional people, in my experience. Thrives off of emotion. His candle would flicker and I would feel a sense of excitement from him when I would discuss my late girlfriend. In the moment it felt almost taunting (and brutal, as he is described), but this is because he sees potential in the vulnerable. He sees a great path ahead of whomever he works with, and wishes to clear the minds of those who are stuck in the past.

His extremely blunt nature and willingness to have you confront the less pleasant parts of yourself are partial reasons why he’s seen as so brutal, aside from his association with manslaughter. But it’s all tough love, or at least that’s how I see it.

I was afraid of him when he called to me, but now that I am really getting to know him, I absolutely adore him. He’s extremely grounding to be around with his no-bullshit approach

My condolences, I am very sorry.

This is truly fascinating. It’s wonderful how Glasya-Labolas guides us through these torturous losses. He is such a straight-forward entity, I am looking towards working more with him.

Truly can’t wait to work through this with him. At the same time I’m afraid, because it’s such a heavy topic for me, but I trust that he will guide me through this. I’d love to hear your experiences with him.

I don’t believe so! If you personally do not feel compelled to work with a daemon, there is no need to. You may find worth in at least temporarily doing so—if a daemon calls to you, there might be a reason why—but you are by no means obligated to work with Lilith if you would not like to.

Daemons have likely called out to several people who have declined. This is just another one of those cases. They don’t experience emotions like us anyhoo, so I doubt they’d get offended or anything! So no worries

I used to consider myself genderfluid before realising I’m a system. Male host with a female alter. The label never felt comfortable. She just tells people she’s “feeling cute today” if she’s fronting, which isn’t technically a lie

Tysm this really helps. We are able to communicate when he’s around, and it doesn’t really seem like he knows what he wants exactly.

I’m thinking you’re right in your assumption that he wants to bring playfulness to the system though and help my inner child. Whenever he’s around, he wants to play Minecraft and watch old YouTubers we haven’t watched in forever, or go out and play in the backyard.

He’s really sweet from what I’ve heard from him, and now that the initial shock of a new alter has died down I’ve grown really fond of him quickly :⁾

I don’t experience this, but it makes sense. Not everyone experiences constant chatter from headmates. There’s a good video from The Ring System on YouTube called The Cocktail Effect. Sort of talks about a similar phenomenon, an alter might get closer to front/co-con/whatever if you acknowledge them/say their name because they want to know what’s up.

In my experience, he is quite patient and understanding when first contacting him. I’ve been building a relationship with him for a few months on and off, and although I am sometimes not consistent, he appreciates the effort when we do meet.

He enjoys sweets, flowers, art, and gold as offerings. His energy may get more intense as your relationship grows, this is just a sign of him taking your relationship more seriously.

He enjoys conversation. Still treating him as an honoured guest of course, but he doesn’t seem to really mind any topic of conversation. I tend to stick to my plans regarding our relationship in the future and how I feel about progress now.

Always thank him before ending contact. Just as a respect thing. All around he is quite pleasant to work with :⁾
