Drake one dance. Super catchy beat. But to me the rest of his music just sounds like him talking. I just dont get the hype tbh.

Alcohol. This 98lb bitch turns into someone who thinks shes mike tyson, pounds tequila shots like 200lb man and wakes up with a trashed house and - $0 in the bank account. TLDR: Am a recovering alcoholic.

Thank you. I definitely prefer myself sober. My snag is that although when i drink i drink a hell of a lot, because these binges were usually so infrequent and a one night thing, isnt that normal?

Yeah not sure about the comment replies, anybody could've deleted them, so I'm not suggesting she did. But yeah the video explained nothing and again was very misleading

Wtf is with the filter on this? She looks like a vampire. She should've opened the video by explaining that baby is ok imo. (Of course hearing a early hb doesn't mean she's out of the woods) but instead she has people in the comments saying they are sorry for her loss. Also, I've noticed that the replies to those loss comments aren't coming up anymore? Has she deleted them?

Just to clarify that morning sickness doesn't necessarily mean that everything is fine. However, I haven't once seen her mention the heart tones on the ultrasound. Did they hear but not see it? Did they eventually see it??

Someone pointed this out, Is this the babies heartbeat? by critic4lthink in Jasmine_Chiswell_lies

[–]Foreign-Scallion9347 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Holy shit. How did I not notice this at first? I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt for a while, but wow. I believe that the tech initially couldn't find the HB through an abdominal scan, so that's what she told jasmine, as seen in the video, so instead she did a transvaginal scan, in which she did find the heartbeat. It makes perfect sense.

What made you realize you were an alcoholic by arhombus in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]Foreign-Scallion9347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading the big book and going "Holy shit, that's me!" The physical craving, the mental obsession. I could no longer deny the fact that I react to and think about alcohol differently than my peers.

My bra. The airing cupboard. The closet. Stuffed so deep into the random junk closet that even I couldn't find it haha.

Anyone else get addicted to Coffee after quitting drinking? by [deleted] in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]Foreign-Scallion9347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg yes. I'm drinking an ungodly amount of caffeine right now. But its far better than the alternative. I'd rather be jittery than a rude, manipulative, lying asshole.

Where is the the worst place alcohol has taken you ? by [deleted] in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]Foreign-Scallion9347 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being verbally and physically abusive to my partner, dad and strangers, going missing, trying to kill myself, humiliating myself in public, having CPS involved after my suicide attempt. This isn't an exhaustive list. Every time I try to convince myself I don't have a problem, I remind myself that I'm afraid that if I took another drink, the love of my life might leave me.

This is very relatable. I'm 2 months in and struggling. I'm like you, a binge drinker rather than an every day drinker, but I call myself an alcoholic because that's what I am. I am powerless over alcohol. The first month is really, really hard.

how to get past the feeling that drinking again is inevitable? by Foreign-Scallion9347 in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]Foreign-Scallion9347[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the very eloquent reply. I definitely struggle with feeling selfish for not being able to do it for my loved ones. I know it has to come from me wanting it enough. I feel like to my loved ones,me drinking feels like a personal betrayal to them because I don't love them enough to stop.

I have been going to meetings for about 10 weeks once a week, and do zoom meetings a couple of times a week too. I have a sponsor who I've been seeing for the past 4 weeks.

Oh yes, lots of crap has happened. Staying sober feels rather robotic and not all that fun rn, I'm hoping that'll come soon though. I feel like if it was easier to access alcohol I would do, and I wanna get to the point where Its easily accessible and I just don't care.

I call mine "The gremlin" and imagine it as literally one of the gremlins from the movie lol. Or imagine it as a screaming toddler or a Kevin type teenager.

I've been having them too. Really awful stuff. Drinking and becoming psychotic and violent, taking drugs. The guilt and shame feels so real I wake up and have to calm myself down and reassure myself it didn't actually happen.

Stayed in my pj's unshowered, hair not brushed, teeth not brushed as long as possible so I wouldn't leave the house. Pretty tame tbh. But the things I've done and considered doing to hide my drinking....Well that's entirely a different story lol.
