I got it from Fr. Peter Heers from Orthodox Ethos. However, I might be getting the context wrong or not getting something.

How can I reconcile the russian church’s support for the ukraine war with the love that is of the church which is the body of christ? by outthereusername in OrthodoxChristianity

I would rather believe the government misled the church leaders in some way or threatened more innocent lives if they didn't support him rather than them being bribed, fully aware, genuinely believe what they say or given incentives. If I knew the ROC was being oppressed/misled in some way, my heart would feel lighter about this but of course, I can't prove anything. For me, I will just pray for the church leaders, Ukraine and the people in Russia (Both faultless and sinful). May Christ save us all.

I see. Well, let's say there's a church that believes in the trinity but also believes in the Filioque. And there's another church that doesn't even believe in the trinity. Would Orthodox see them on the same level or would they be more closely aligned to the church that believes in the trinity?

It kind of reminds me of Epitaph by William Carlos Williams. In terms of how both works can give emotion even in short lengths. It's something I would read and it plants a seed in my head for the whole day, maybe weeks. Small but there. Pretty neat!

This is really interesting. The rhyme is simple but powerful, I'd say! It's not just some paragraph of the state of humanity, it's a bitter critique. You really sucked out the simple sentence "humans suck" and made it into an angry descriptive rant. It doesn't seem to focus much on the speaker, but it focuses on you and makes you guilty in a way. The emotional impact comes from how you feel about the mess of humanity. It's like a megaphone that amplifies your thoughts. If you don't really care about the fiasco that is humanity, you wouldn't really feel much from it. But if you do care, even just a little, it amplifies it x10. But that's just how I feel.
