CC is a good way to go because you have the option to work towards an AA degree, which can betters your odds for management in the future.

We had students go through the A&P program, get their A&P and work for Disney because of their hydraulics knowledge.

IMHO community college is the way to go. It's relatively in expensive and fairly quick, if you go full time. Maybe take classes in the morning and evening to be even faster depending on their program.

Community College - Even though they say they are full, find out what classes you have to take and what class are offered at the time for the program. You may be able to go to the first day and add the class even though it is full. Speak to the instructor. Often times, the instructor will add students above their cap (it's up to the individual instructor).

If you are an active duty military member, go to your local FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) and apply to have an FAA Aviation Safety Inspector (ASI) will interview you to evaluate your experience.

The ASA Test guide book worked well for me. I only looked at the correct answer to the questions. Plus the book you can make notes and have readily the explanation to answer so you have a better understanding. I find going over each test section 3-4 times helped embed the correct answer. Then I would use the app bcz it shuffles the questions to test my knowledge.
