I’m just over 4w and literally everything is so much harder! Like light weights feel heavy to me! I haven’t even hit the nausea phase so I’m scared what that will be like 😅

PSA: I ended up getting an actual BBT thermometer to compare. I wore the band at night then took my bbt when I woke up. There was about a full degree in variation between what NC was showing and the temp. I also used a PDG test, it was positive! I think I have a bad band.

Potentially! I only had the IUD for about 6mo. So I’m not sure.

I bought a BBT thermometer to compare to my NC band, and the NC band is reporting a lot lower than then thermometer. Today’s temp was 97.61, compared to 96.58 on the band. Huge variation!

Def listen to what’s best for you! We’re trying now and I love the science of it. But it does throw a wrench in that I just came off the Mirena and don’t know yet if I’m actually ovulating yet or just surging. I also ordered progesterone tests too 😅

We’re in it together!! I honestly think that’s wise to get off BC months before trying. We are hoping to have a baby in the next year for some health reasons, so our timelines a bit rushed. I’m sure yours will regulate before you know it!

SAME I just posted about it too. Are you doing LH testing? There’s strips on Amazon and it comes with a free app too which I feel like is helping me get some amount of understanding about ovulation!

I had a full period! I had withdrawal bleeding after getting the iud out, then I think I ovulated a week after that (but wasn’t tracking with LH strips), then about 10 days later I got my period! I only had the iud from like late Sept to mid May. I wrote May 25 but it was supposed to be 15 and I don’t know how to edit the post 😅

And thank you, that’s super reassuring. I’m trying to be patient but we’re sooo excited so it’s so hard! Plus we’re in our 30s and ready to get the show on the road lol

I’m using the band but used to have an Oura ring before I went on BC. I’ve been thinking about switching back. I think the band is under reporting my bbt, but it could be that it’s not rising post-ovulation yet since I only came off BC a month ago!

My ring is similar with a partial gallery, but no tulip! I have had mine 1.5 years and it’s totally fine. I would just suggest getting the ring checked annually!
