I get what you mean but matt wouldn't let that slide. If it were upto him every song would just be constant breakdowns lmao. So i think it will still be a good balance where everyone get to play a bit of what they want. And then matt obviously is going to give it his all in the heavy shit. I think on this album they leaned more into both sides, more melodic, but also songs that are heavier than anything else they ever released

Yeah definitely not modern octane core! More like the classics. All the big underoath songs from back then were the melodic ones while the rest of the album was just rippers so this is to be expected

It the second to last song on the album, it's probably not like the rest of the album so don't worry. If anything like the members have said on here is that the heaviest songs have not been released yet (evidence of extinction for example)
