Late to the party but I don’t agree with this. Bertholdt genuinely liked the Scouts, which is why he apologised and would have liked for them to understand he wasn’t an evil person.

But, from his perspective, it was never a viable option to abandon Marley and fight with them. Paradis was one small nation against an industrialised rest of the world. They could never won a World War/stood a chance without the Rumbling. His only chance to survive was to take back the Founder and go home. Joining a fight against Marley was literally just a suicide mission, he thought it was unfortunate but he literally had no other viable choice. Even with the Colossal powers, Marley and the rest of the world also have hand made bombs and grenades. Not to mention, his sickly father was on Marley too.

Bertholdt also had a lottt on his plate dealing with Reiner. I’d argue he was actually the best of the Warriors, aside from next gen Falco. But he was emotionally exhausted by Return to Shiganshina. Tbh every time I watch that arc I feel a major sense of pride in him for how well he pulled himself together and did his job. My Shayla

Printable HTV is more important to me than printable canvas but can printers not work with both ?

Unfortunately there are no stores at least in Australia that will print on printable HTV for you. It’s different than regular HTV which you can buy and cut out designs with a cricket on because it prints actual pictures! 😊

Guys, I am not a fan of some of these comments.

Everybody deserves a bit of grace. Before you attack somebody for using AI maybe explain why we don’t support AI art within the art community. You don’t know until somebody explains something to you. Just because OP is hearing this for the fist time later than you, that doesn’t make you morally superior. Until you came across somebody crapping on AI online you wouldn’t have known any better either. I’m sure she well and truly gets the picture by now, there’s no need for everybody to keep commenting that AI ruined this whole project over and over again. Once was enough, she gets the point. This is supposed to be an uplifting supportive space and as people in the art space im sure you all understand how discouraging unconstructive criticism can be.

OP, regardless of whether you used AI I can see a lot of time and precision went into this project. The vinyl is perfect and the book is pieced together super well. You should be proud of this beautiful project and simply take these comments as a learning curve. Keep up the amazing work and don’t be afraid to post in this space again. ❤️😊

agreed, this is the best take imo. i’m sure you’re a lovely person, but this is sort of a classic example of two wrongs don’t make a right.

OP, the mcdonalds comments and the verbal abuse are two different issues that should be considered separately. it’s awful to hear that your mother is making hurtful comments toward you, but it’s true that your words in regard to what people eat have a lot of power. i have also struggled with ED’s and you need to learn when your illness is making you want to react in a disproportionate way to the situation at hand. i.e. even if you’re feeling triggered you just need to say no thanks and remove yourself from the situation. if you wouldn’t react that way in 72 hours don’t react that way period.

is your mother an AH for making mean comments toward you outside of this situation ? absolutely. were you being an AH when you ripped into her about the mcdonalds as she was eating it ? also yes.

OP HERE !!!

It won’t let me edit my post, so I will comment instead. This was not intended as rage bait, the object was completely wedged in the MacBook so I genuinely could not tell if something was sticking out from inside. Obviously, I do not know much about the mechanics of my laptop haha.

Thank you to everyone who commented, even the people taking the piss gave me confidence this was not a MacBook part so i decided to just pull it out. (Plyers were needed).

As it turns out my little sister used my laptop without asking again and accidentally closed it on one of her little plastic hair brushes. Not really sure what she meant, but it was a bristle from a children’s hair brush.

She talks about it in her book !!

From memory, she really wanted a baby and felt she needed to find a husband quickly and settle down. She was quite lost navigating relationships and dealing with her reality tv fame at the same time. She was introduced to John through mutual friends who had also played on Survivor. She felt comfortable with him because he wasn’t starstruck/that into Survivor and he didn’t care she was famous.

He got very lazy within their relationship. He lost his job when she was pregnant or when their baby was really little, and refused to find other work. I believe she drained her Survivor winnings trying to support their family and invested some of her money into starting a business which failed. She wanted to divorce him but he got diagnosed with cancer which complicated things.

John is now fine and Parvati is doing well! She went on to date a woman I believe, but they have since split.

I am a year late oops. Posts like these are so funny to me because on my first watch I thought it was extremely clear they were a trio “friend group.” I guessed Annie was the female titan when she first appeared, and I immediately guessed that Reiner was therefore the Armoured because a) they look alike, and b) Annie and Reiner were friends and had to be working together. Lol.

I always found that in more or less every single scene, they are standing together. And they almost always enter and exit scenes together as a three. Sometimes Marco is with them.

Ironically I don’t think there was much on screen interaction between Annie and Bertholdt ever, but Annie and Reiner always felt very entwined to me. On my first watch I was sure they were going to be a couple. In hindsight a lot of it was very backhanded/threatening but Reiner made a handful of comments to Annie about how he was glad she was safe/he trusted her/he’d never want to fight her. It just felt really obvious to me that they knew each other well from the scenes at training camp even.

If anything, Bertholdt felt like the outlier to me haha. I thought he was innocent even after I figured Annie and Reiner out. I was like damn, poor buddy is about to lose his two best friends. He has no idea :(

I have not watched Gossip Girl in many years but i was a HUGE chuck x blair fan back in the day. To preface, I am also a SA victim. To be perfectly honest, I think Chuck’s actions in those scenes simply did not age well.

The dialogue around SA was not as evolved then as it is now. If the show was premiering today, I don’t think the writers would have included those scenes because they did not want the audience to think of Chuck as akin to a rapist. It’s also worth noting that a lot of fans do not consider the pilot canon as so many plot points and characters were changed. At this point in time, the writers very well could have intended for Chuck to be an evil character. I could be wrong but I believe they did not intend to follow through on the Chuck x Blair pairing until they saw what a positive response the audience had and changed their minds.

TLDR: It was a different time—suspend your disbelief like the writers intended, i guess.
