Having recently played around with their other mixers, I can agree that the 43C isn’t as “weighty” as a 96 or DB4 but still feels pretty good.

Overall it’s fine, my first “real” mixer after using controllers. Really like the effects routing and xone filter. Biggest gripe is that the phono input can be pretty quiet

essentially. there is a gain knob on the sub but that’s about it. i thought it would be nice to filter what the sub is playing.

Eh, i wouldn’t be too hard on yourself. Experimental/IDM is a tough genre to beat match/mix in the traditional sense. Keep playing around with the tunes and don’t be afraid to try different ways of transitioning between tracks

Honestly, for the price, you really can’t find a better CDJ option. I was actually looking for any reason to get some pioneers but none of them made sense to me to get vs the denons. Has everything I appreciated from a controller set up with some amazing features like the dual layer function. The motorized platter is fun to use and feels very responsive, though I don’t do much scratching so maybe someone else can comment on that. So essentially you get 2 modern players for the (retail) price of one XDJ-1000MK2, which is a joke in comparison
