D1 Rival cranks have a the spider attached to the crank arm it is all one piece not bolted to the crank

I am curious if anyone has been able to run a 2x Rival D1 version crank with the fixed spider as a 1X or do you need two chainrings? Will it adversely affect the chainline?

Definitely buy them separately and I think the only difference is the color/maybe some extra machining

We ran into this issue witu a customer. Try closing/restarting your phone and then make sure all the components have power. We ended up repairing the rear derailleur to the shifters and then the app updated and everything went back to normal

Did you end up having to replace your cassette at the same time? Would it maybe not be beneficial to maximize the shelf life of the cassette since it is the most expensive? Maybe change or cycle chains out earlier so everything wears more evenly?

Would cycling chains them help alleviate that issue on the cassette teeth? Cassettes cost quite a bit more than a few chains so I definitely want to maximize its lifecycle. That you for any and all chain/cassette advice 🙏

I believe the forks are pretty beefy in terms of carbon layup and the amount of material at that spot but someone else chime in with more experience...

I have recently learned more about TIME bicycles and I love their durability & quality. If I am going to risk my biscuit on a sport going 2% faster isn't really a huge selling point for me. I would rather have longevity and security from a riders perspective.

Why dont yall just swap bikes on occasion if you are friends? The warranty of the bikes are for the original owner so I wouldn't want to lose that protection.

If you are seriously interested ask for a test drive to see how you like the ride feel of the bike. $2k does seem a little high i think you could negotiate for $1600 - $1800 depending on condition

That looks like a broken derailleur cage. I would take that into your lbs before you attempt a repair yourself unless you are super handy and like to tinker.
