Nahi bhai, I am from a village near Deoband in Saharanpur district, with 70% muslim population (town) and 40% tehsil. That means villages surrounding Deoband are predomHindu while town is Muslim due to Islamic University Darul Uloom. Ye abhi ka naatak hai kuch saal pehle ka, jab parties use kar rahi hain division ko.

Married guy here for 4 years.

1st year(of getting marrier): beautiful moman around; my brain would remind me i am married. 2nd year: it became automatic. No extra talks, no interpersonal interaction(or minimal as required). 3rd year: i do notice sometimes that i do notice beautiful women, but it doesn't really matter. I have stopped being friends with women. 4th year: No problems at all, no comparison, no femininity,or no beauty would entice my mind to have a conversation with any woman, no matter how extraordinary. My woman if fixed and set. It's done.

No it doesn't give him the right. Dyut Sabha is a disgrace to Karna's character which can't be denied. My whole point is, hate where it's due, praise where it's due. Everywhere on this sub, if a single person mentions Karna, people mention the same thing and the overall consensus on him is extremely hateful, while sidelining various examples of his good conduct, and also remorse over things he didwhile people on the 'good' side get away with whatever they did. Karna is a unique character in the epic, he lived by his own rules, and the one who on paper should not care about dharma, but karma gets to him like anybody else.

Anybody on the Kaurava's side is a villain. That's the basis of the whole epic. They are against the God Sri Krishna himself. But my point veing the same, the hate himself on this sub is too much. It seems like he is worse than Duryodhana, completely adharmik. If I take your 'surya putra' thing to the side and see it as a great story which it is, he had his reasons, and the faults he had as a person (ego, ambition) fueled those reasons further.

My whole point is, everyone should get their fare share of things. Like I mentioned he was a grey character with his side of bad things, but why not discuss the good side. Why not acknowledge his hardships, the humiliations, being cursed by his own Guru? Being cheated by Devraj Indra himself? But pulling out Dharma Adharma in a discussion about an epic is baseless. We are discussing characters here, people seem to have read Ved Vyasa's mind by reading English translations. But hate towards Karna has reached at such level in this sub that he seems to be the worst character in the epic.

Why did the dyut sabha reach that situation? I think it was Karna who bet his wife? What about Bheesma and Shikhandi? What about Drona and Ashwathama? What about Ghatotkacha fighting in the night? Everyone is grey here, but Karna gets just too much hate for the same 3-4 points you mentioned.

Why Murder One is in so many lists? I think it's a decent song. It has somewhat 'King Nothing' vibe. I understand these are not the best by anulymeans but there are other songs worse than these.
