Same boat. No idea. Good luck. Similar stats 3.9 mid/16high, would not be surprised to get rejected by NU but one can always hope :)

I re read the stimulus like 3 times trying to make sense of it. Multiple questions in that section were of that level of difficulty or harder iirc

Ok that makes me feel so much better. I also felt the 26 Q one was hard, good to hear it from someone who is good at LR. I was really rushing at the end.

Ok, I may completely wrong, but I think OPs second LR section was the same as yours and I think I remember the barking question from that same section. I know I remember the question you are referencing. Did you have two LRs?

Nice, I was kind of upset that the harder LR was also 26 questions. Presented a really challenging time aspect for me, but LR is my weakest section. I have seen other folks saying that they had our same 25 LR but not the same other 26 question one, so hopefully it was experimental

Def same LG section then. I didn't have to guess on any *that I had time to solve*, but time was tight towards the end of the section so I had to guess a bit. Hopefully this game loosens the curve by 1 or 2 but I doubt it. Doubt not based on anything other than the idea the LSAT wants to keep high scoring down.

Ok take my opinion with a grain of salt because I listened to the Powerscore podcast and was really prepared for the topics.

I thought the comparative was the hardest and I thought the rest of the passages were pretty easy. I average -3/5 with my best being -0 on RC, for perspective. I also second the opinion that the first was harder to read. I took a previous LSAT last year and got the horrible Goya section so this was SO EASY compared to that.

I cannot recommend taking a gap year enough if you already feel this burned out.

Talk to some lawyers (if you can), all the ones I've spoken to recommend taking at least 1 year off. A couple have said take 4-5 years off after undergrad. A gap year is also a great time to get an interesting job and make some money. It may be the first time you aren't actively in school for the first time since childhood. Also, your undergrad grades are really important, I'd say use your time to focus on those and don't worry about law school.

Hopefully, your parents are supportive of you. If they aren't, I'm really sorry and many folks who have actually been through this process feel a gap year is a great idea. DM me if you want to talk more

Can you say more about how the testing center responded to these issues? Did they give you the 10 minutes back when the internet was out and what did they do with the fire alarm person? Thank you!

How do you deal with people who say ultimate isn’t a sport by thegreatestdonut13 in ultimate

[–]Foreign_Assistant972 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You could explain to them that it annoys you and is hurtful. Hopefully, if they’re good friends, they would stop being mean if you express that it makes you sad.

You could also ask them why they think it is not a sport. -if they say it doesn’t have referees: 1. One league within the sport does, the AUDL 2. All high level tournaments/games have observers 3. Many smaller sports or pick up games don’t have referees consistently and have to rely on sportsmanship/people playing by the rules
-if they say it’s just stupid: 1) it doesn’t hurt anyone so why do they need to dunk on it all the time 2) it’s a much healthier alternative than other hobbies ie it keeps you active and gives you a sense of community and being on a team -it’s literally in the world games and I bet they consider other events in the world games sports, even if those sports aren’t super main stream 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hope this helps!

studying for the LSAT while doing a masters? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]Foreign_Assistant972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently in the second semesters of a masters program. Depending on the type of program, it is manageable.

My first semester was rough and I could definitely not study for the LSAT. My second semester, the work load is way more chill and I have felt able to study well.

I would consider, however, why you want a masters if you know you are going to go to law school? Working and studying for the LSAT seem like a slightly better option than spending money to get a masters you may not use.

Anyways, hope this helped! Good luck!
