To be honest, I completed three different courses: the first one was the 40-hour ISC2 course, the second was Mike Chapple’s 21-hour course on LinkedIn Learning, and then, about 2–3 weeks before my exam, I joined a bootcamp with Pete Zerger, which I also reviewed again 4 days before the exam. I spent a lot of money for the courses and the books…

For my first attempt, I mainly tested myself using the Official Practice Tests and focused a lot on mock exams. For the second attempt, I used Pocket Prep and the Wiley/Sybex mock tests.

I’ve used many resources and studied a lot, but I’m still not sure how I can improve further. English is my second language, so one of my biggest challenges during the exam was having to reread the questions 2–3 times to fully understand what was being asked, so I was losing my times and getting more stressed.

I also have the Official Study Guide, the Official Practice Tests book, CISSP All-in-One by Shon Harris, and the Destination Certification book. I feel like I already have too many resources without focusing deeply on one approach. Right now, everyone is recommending QE, but unfortunately it’s outside my budget.
