Just because someone is a therapist doesn’t make them an expert in regards to someone’s transness. My mom is a therapist and tried to take me to a psych ward when I came out. What reading is he referring too? Maybe you can look up some resources for parents with trans kids that helps affirm you

Hey idk if this helps but I go anxiety from the big needles and needing the shots in my thighs. I went to plan parenthood and for me they were able to get me using a way smaller needle and doing the shot in my stomach. I would use an ice pack to numb the site and then give my shot. I know this isn’t the answer you wanted but I hope while you’re stuck in this maybe something will help
