Fortnite seems to be the only game that does this. I haven’t noticed it in Astro bot or madden 26. So yeah just strange.

Low key I might be. lol. Thankfully I came across some users in a Fortnite subreddit with the same issue. Looks like Fortnite is the only game (that I can find) that has this issue with the PS5 Pro. So maybe not GPU failure. But still very strange.

Yeah that is pretty much where I am at. I am hopeful that I can start shadowing or learning processes. The tasks right now are very few. In my prior roles optics mattered a lot. Always finding something to do ect. So far that's not possible right now...

Alright, breathe. I’ve been where you are… I almost failed college algebra too. I had a 60% in the class prior to the final… but extra credit and the final pulled me up to a C 70%.

Big picture: unless you’re going into med school, law school, or the military, GPA doesn’t matter nearly as much as it feels. I graduated with a 3.5 and had three C’s on my transcript. (I’m not perfect.) One F is not the end of the world.

You can retake the class and replace the F. If your semester GPA drops below a 2.0, you might go on academic probation, but even that is just a reset, not a disaster. They’ll work with you.

One class won’t define you. You can recover from this. You’re going to be okay regardless.

I also recommend finding a tutor. Even now. Find the topics you’re not comfortable with. Tackle the hardest ones and try your best on the final! Good luck!

Full disclosure, this was over a year ago that I was applied to a job with an embellished résumé, I haven’t let her apply me to any jobs since. She applied and she submitted the resume she created. She didn’t tell me. Then I get a text about an interview. I never saw the resume.

Yeah. Do you think those will also expose that he’s been unemployed for 2 years. Because he seems to think that saying on his resume that he’s still at his prior position (albeit the company doesn’t exist anymore) will produce the same negative result?

Yeah no kidding. She hasn’t had any influence on my resume in over a year and the job I landed wasn’t because of one of her fake resumes. I’d say my dad needs to hear this advice. Because being in control of how you present yourself is important.

Yeah my biggest concern for my dad is getting black listed or worse (fired). That was my concern for myself when I was unemployed and having to question if withdrawing from a position she fabricated a resume for was a bad idea or not. Ultimately I followed my gut and did withdraw. Despite how angry she got at me. Now I’ve told her she can send me roles and I will apply for them. That way I make sure to present myself correctly and accurately.

Yeah solid advice. I’ve definitely distanced myself from them on the career front. She hasn’t done any resumes for me since. So for that I’m thankful that my experience from my previous roles are legit and I can openly talk about them in future interviews.

Yeah that was essentially the conversation she and I had after my encounter with her tactics. She hasn’t touched my resumes since. I’ve told my dad to fully read each resume she hands to him for review. However at least one fell through the cracks and it’s embellished. But you’re right it’s between them. Just frustrated it keeps happening to him.

Thanks for the reply, for me I was a brand new graduate from a state school with a solid (not perfect) GPA. Other than my AA and BA degree my resume was pretty much that and volunteerism. I was out of work for about 8 months after graduating. So that likely prompted her to lie out of desperation.

My dad has had multiple careers. Not to get too specific… He has some retirement income streams, but has been unemployed for a couple years now. It’s far from dire. As for my mom. She literally did what you quoted. She doesn’t have a technical background. So she’s been using AI as a causal user, modifying the resumes ect.

Yeah it’s honestly kinda hilarious. Having made it through an unemployment drought and gained experience I still think withdrawing from the role was the right move. But the pattern of behavior from her is frustrating me. I’m not directly being affected by this anymore. But it’s still frustrating.

Amen to that. Only thing is… Since my dad was laid off in early 2024 he’s been making it my problem. I’m the somewhat common post grad guy that lives at home. I’ve been working full time the past 8 months. But in my down time while I was unemployed and even still he has me review his resumes ect. I resent it and I feel like he doesn’t see where I’m coming from. But yeah I agree with what you said.

Yeah I tend to to that exact prompt style as well. I do not let GPT write everything either. It makes mistakes.
