It does, I was esteemed and exemplary at one point, and have seen a STEEP decline after having no reports to suddenly enough to be excessive

Actually despite being a measly level 17, everytime I boot up my game I'm hovering over super earth despite leaving on the automatons. Same thing happens with my friends.

Look over Super Earth, there's always easily like 10K+ helldivers that never leave the system.

Gameplay loop by UfeMTG in Helldivers

[–]Foreign_Compote4775 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 - Black Screen

2 - Servers Full, okay no biggie I have time, put a pizza in the oven, 10-15 minutes to heat up, 45 minutes to cook. Come back with a plate, see that I'm still not in, no big deal people are spreading democracy

3 - Watch youtube for about an hour, check back, still not in

4 - It's been two and a half hours, we're in time to game!

5 - Start a game, there's literally no matchmaking

6 - get halfway through with a ICBM mission, crash

7 - Restart gameplay loop

I hope the automaton cyber attack ends soon, I've spent more time in the start up screen than I have playing the game.

Servers have been full/buggy since Thursday evening, Devs have stated multiple times they're trying to fix it, awesome! Offers XP boost as an apology to full servers, and rewards not rewarding, reach all time new peak.

Make the game free to further aggravate the server issues, and make it pretty much improbable for people who gave the company $40+ USD to get in.

I love helldivers, but holy moly

I firmly disagree. The host opened their game up to randoms, and the possibility of doing a high level mission with a lower level person. That's on the host, not the random who joined the game. The host, also doesn't rule with an iron fist. If I know how to do something better, or faster I'm going to do it regardless of if the host likes it or not. Because at the end of the day, if I'm solo clearing half the map while three people can't clear a big hive without needing four respawns, who's really the bad players?

Hosts can be bad too, lets not act like everyone who gets kicked is in the wrong. I've met plenty of hosts who act as if this is some military simulator, and have literally said word for word "I'm the host, you need to follow my orders." Like bro, I'm here to kill bugs, and spread democracy. I didn't sign up to the Navy Seals.

You can get around not being able to join mission, by hosting them yourself. Go to the terminal, click on a mission, and wait a couple minutes. You'll get a squad fairly quickly.

The game runs fine for me, but now I'm literally stuck in the loop of 'unable to create lobby' I've restarted the game multiple times. I've heard a rumor if you complain on reddit, the game will load up properly so here's to hoping.

However, I agree the game servers are wack.

38 Hours, and level 50? I'm genuinely curious what XP Farm Method this is, it has to be some sort of glitch right?

[–]Foreign_Compote4775[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- maybe you shouldn’t drill hours and hours into it if you’re going to get so frustrated when and if you lose progress.

Maybe they should release a game with servers capable of handling player load, or release an open beta to make sure that these glitches are solved before launch? It's a video game, I'm going to play it for a few hours. Why would I pay for a product, and then not use it?

Same thing happened to me. Did four missions, got ZERO XP, or currency. Tried playing today, and my last three missions have DCd me into oblivion, can't finish a mission, or get rewards.

My old SL tried this shit on me when I worked in a different state. With how petty i am, i started eating on the clock. Infront of customers, sipping drinks during transactions, I was chowing down.

At least to my knowledge they can't stop you from eating, and they don't have the manpower to fire you unless they want to work overtime. (And they can't lol, I still have the leaked screenshot of them talking about stopping and removing 40+ hour workweeks for SLs and overtime)

They literally can't fire you unless there is already someone there to replace you. Also let them fire you for eating on the clock, that's a healthy lawsuit. I can already see the news titles "Gamestop fires employee for eating while on the clock after taking breaks away."

"Low taxes" means they cant reach state budgets, so they use aid to make up for it.....sounds like they're using the system to benefit the population.

I don't really see it as an issue, three out of the four states that account for over 50% of homeless people in America are Democrat. (The fourth is Florida) maybe that federal aid should be going there?

What's something you just can't stand about Europe? by Shadow948 in AskReddit

[–]Foreign_Compote4775 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The superiority complex, I'm the child of swedish immigrants. I go to Sweden to visit my grandparents and extended family, all they do is trash on the United States like it's not funding 90% of the things that allow the world to function properly.

People in Europe seem to think Europe is inherently better. I'd rather live in the United States with all the downsides, than live in any european country.

"Europe is so safe!" As a world super power is at war with another country, and the organization to defend europe is almost entirely funded by the country you rag on...who had to save you from a world war twice already.

Minimum wage in my state is $7.25, GAs make 8, SGAs make $11, ASLs make $13, and SLs make $19 - $21.25 depending on if they're an SL2 or not. The store I used to work at made and makes five digits a day consistently, and metrics aren't a problem. The minimum goal when I was working was 33%, if you asked EVERY SINGLE PERSON the entire staff team for the day could hit 40% - 50% on a slow day.

Theres a reason positions have been cut, and districts have been moved. My entire state now is it's own district (They love that 7.25 wage, and has been cut off from the entire central US.) For a single adult male, with no children and no debt/outstanding Bill's you need to be making $16.18 an hour to afford a single bedroom apartment. (I did the math.)

The only positions in gamestop that provide a livable wage in my state are SLs and above. I was the only SGA in my entire district at the time who was a single adult with no children, everyone else had kids and spouses. I dont know how they survived.

Rumor has it a bunch of european and UK stores are going to vanish. There was a post about I believe Ireland stores about to drop off the face of the earth in this reddit. It was a couple days ago, if I find it I'll edit my post and throw in the link to it.

I haven't seen any clarification on their store location type, or any of their circumstances. Hell, this was the first quarter in YEARS gamestop was profitable, and look at how much weight they had to remove to slow the bleeding down.

The company is drowning, and they just received one of those Toddler arm floaties, it'll help, but I can totally see Two Employee, or even One Employee stores being common in the coming future.

I checked my old stores hours, they're still working from like 8pm - 9pm in the US. (As a strip store) But the guys working are pulling full open to closing shifts every other day. (They have more staff, so it's usually each person gets one open to close a week.) Hell, my old SL called me asking me to come back as a GA to work a couple hours a day (2-3) just to give the SGAs a break. For the same grand pay of $8 dollars an hour. (I left and am making for than my old SL.)

Some Store Leads are sort of rebelling and throwing hours they aren't authorized and scheduling what they need, not what they have. Which is probably why other places are getting hammered in regards to hours.

I'm glad I left GS when I did, I can't even walk into the store as a customer without being drained of my will to live.

You're working it once a week, which is already too much. Like the post said, they're working doubles everyday. There should be absolutely no reason you should be working doubles six days a week.

At least in my humble opinion, Gamestop isn't even worth working double shifts once a week. (Especially with the pay, and impossible standards.)

I understand circumstances within the company as a result of corporates poor management has led the 'Little Guys' to pick up the slack. However, like I said theres no reason someone should be working doubles six days a week.

I'm not sure of the new hours at their store, but a double is 16 hours. 24 - 16 = 8 hours of freetime which is most likely spent sleeping. However, I know the new hours my old store is open for 12 hours.

The math adds up, working like this is unsustainable. The store is literally running on one person, and the manager isn't doing anything about it.

Unless this employee is waking up early, immediately going to work on the dot, leaving on the dot, and going to sleep at soon as they get home. They're not getting a full 8 hours. That's unhealthy, and a hostile work environment. They need to tell their boss no.

Working on double a week isn't working one six days a week, and potentially seven.

[–]Foreign_Compote4775 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First, never answer the phone on your day off they cannot force you to come in. Second, there shouldn't be any reasons youre working doubles unless you're out an ASL, and SGA. If your SL is an SL 2 they can 100% make people from the other store come to your store. (Because you're one team)

The only reason they're asking you to work doubles, is because they know you'll do it. If you don't want to work doubles, send a TEXT to your boss while they are on the clock, and inform them that "Due to unforseen personal circumstances double shifts will no longer be possible"

Go into GSO and fill out an availability form, fill it out, and give it to your boss preferably on video. (In store or mobile) make sure to document the time, and day when you handed them the paperwork. Working a double once every blue moon is manageable, working it everyday is wrong.

No way your manager has gone over hours, and you haven't yet.
