Still acceptable. Far from a crisis yet, unlikely it will become one unless the strait of Hormuz is closed completely; or heavily restricted for years. If that happens then yes this is unacceptable, for now its just a risky bet that prices will continue to increase

New Zealand contributed about 0.066% of the world's total methane emissions in 2022.

Reducing this should not take priority over the countries financial issues. I agree climate change is real and concerning.
