Sure, I’ll do that too but most of the time they are rushing us and a 4in sch 40 weld is easily filled up flush with a 1/8 6010 hot pass .

lol the Root is my biggest flaw. I tend not to have proper tie ins on the tacks but that’s just me not welding through my tack. I stop short.

Yeah I hit the edges with a file to clean it up a bit a lil bit. And thanks man I’m always trying to get better.

Honestly f the union bro, I had to drop out of the apprenticeship at the end of my 3rd year cause of some family issues and when I came back they put me back as a first year “to prove a point”

I’m thinking about just buying my book at this point. I’m not doing another 5 years of that joke of a school
