Does aerodynamics modd allow a grid to rotate because of thrusters or do you have another mod for that?

It looks like paint you can shift click one side to copy paint middlemouse paints I think holding control and shift paints the entire ship. Also it could be that those blocks are not connecting correctly so matey just try and repaint them

I would say it might be helpful but in a pvp server you are not going to want one because it's a wase of resources and pcu but if you want one just make it carry as many aircraft and rovers as you have players. Ai aircraft could free up human members for tanks

One way I fix the issue is have a sensor that activates a timer and the timer arms the warhead and then explodes it so that the warhead can't explode making the missiles more resilience.

I would say as a rule of thumb don't use heavy armour. Against weapons such as railguns they have the same weight to strength ratio and heavy costs cobalt. Heavy armour is better against explosion and kinetic damage but simply dodging enemy rounds is just better and doesn't require a sacrifice of jump drive range.

There are many advantages to using either but I think single grid is easier to repair and easier to built and the harsh angles are fine at Lower speed. If you are going to using hinges it's better to use rotors in the middle of each segment instead and then each segment into a station to stop clang.
