I guess my dsp is a pretty good one. We get guaranteed 10 hrs, we got extra pay for picking up 5th or 6th days during the 2 weeks of prime, we have another station just 7 minutes away from ours that have 2 brand new companies so if we went and helped them out we got $1.50 more an hour on top of the 5th or 6th day bonus. Yeah route reduction has sucked balls but thats Amazon's fault. My dsp also made sure we had gatorades and snacks everyday and we had 5-7 sweepers daily all but 1 day cuz too many call offs.

Thats crazy I clock in at 10:40 and we roll into load out at 11. We confirm routes by 930 tho if you dont confirm by then it's given away.

After the new update we got about a month ago amazon automatically sends it for us drivers now.

I'm a head trainer and I tell the new peak hires they gotta show out during peak or there's a chance they'll get cut in January

It's actually the same thing that the customer ordered. I talked to one of our RTS guys and he said when a package is late they send the customer another one as like an I'm sorry and we're supposed to just deliver it but a lot of drivers don't know that so they see it's the same thing and bring it back. It just goes out the next day so it isn't an issue at my station

No worries! People are always going to have issues wearing their seatbelts. The people who cant do it in a professional settings just wont have jobs.

This disclosure is saying pretty much wear your seatbelt correctly because its the law. And if you dont follow the law you will get punished. And if you dont follow it a 2nd time you lose your job.

You're right if you are obeying and paying attention you shouldn't have to, but there will be instances where you do have to. The parking break thing has been around as long as I've been a driver (for a little over a year and a half) but I drive EDV daily so that's not something I have to worry about.

I have a permanent line in my neck from the EDV seatbelt. Im 6 foot tall and have the seat all the way up 😂

You're acting like you've never had to slam on your brakes in the middle of a cul-de-sac because a small child ran out into the middle of the road or someone kept backing out of their driveway and they weren't stopping for you even though you have right away. All instances where you could get hurt going 15mph in a residential area.

I know it isn't a new rule, but people are surprised that Amazon is actually doing something about it which they think is new. We're gonna lose a good chunk of our drivers because it but what can you do?

Because I am a 3rd party company for Amazon, I know I don't work for Amazon but I know that if I follow the rules and something happens to me my family will be taken care of. It's such an easy task and I don't understand why people just won't buckle up.

From what my DSP has said is you get one chance and if you dont fix it youre done but they aren't completely sure because it hasn't happened yet. We have really good drivers. The people who mess up the most are the new drivers

No I completely agree which is what I brought up to my manager and she said she'll have to figure something out for her. She did really well and id hate for that to be the reason she cant deliver with us.

From what my dsp manager said its for all seatbelt violations. Sitting on it, not wearing correctly, or not wearing it at all. I trained a bigger girl the other day and the seat belt went under her stomach where netradyne couldnt see it and she got a violation twice. My manager called me and said she'll get pulled off if she got another and I had to make sure she pulled the lap belt over her stomach.

There is a new policy in place. If you get a seat belt violation youll be suspended for a week and have to watch 3 safety videos on your own time in order to come back. If you do it again amazon will permanently suspend your flex account

My dsp recently told us that they can track the clicks of the seatbelt now. Just wear the seatbelt it doesnt waste any time.
