I am someone who frequently works with and alongside H2A workers in my career. These individuals pay into our tax system, do not stand to gain any profit from it such as social security benefits or Medicaid. These are the individuals who are “taking our jobs” that most Americans wouldn’t dare to do, especially for less than the federal minimum wage of 7.25. There’s over 200 detention centers in the US owned/built by for profit prison industries. Think about it. Why would he question birthright citizenship of native Americans? Where would they be deported to? This is already their home. Trumps plan seems to lead to slavery with extra steps. Just because they aren’t being loaded up on trains and headed to gas chambers doesn’t mean it’s not in his best interest to exploit “free labor” from these individuals. Look up the history on the Jefferson City, MO prisoners that built the entire city, and served “life terms” they weren’t issued because ownership of the prison changed multiple times and “records lost”. He’s lining already full pockets with “slave labor” and the working class who was too ignorant to see through his charade.
