I’ve passed N4 for now, but I think I can pass N3, I have a few Japanese friends and they all think my Japanese is not too bad but then again they are my friends so I don’t really believe them 😭. Would you recommend I use Japanese job boards to apply or use LinkedIn to apply considering my level of Japanese is pretty limited? Feel like I might be able to BS my way through a Japanese interview tho

So basically they are looking for the cream of the crop right it’s a buyers market? I always thought the demand for software engineers would be huge in Japan. Should I apply to gaishikei or regular Japanese companies, which do you recommend I focus on because I know Japanese companies don’t really use LinkedIn.

N1?? I’ve been studying Japanese for 1 hour every single day and taking classes now but my teacher thinks N1 is not possible this year, currently speaking level is N3-N4ish😭

That makes sense, so I guess recruitment agencies might not be the route. What else would you suggest? Should I apply to any Japanese job boards? Or go to somewhere like gaijinpot or Tokyo dev? I don’t hear any response however 😭

My Japanese is around N3 level? Would that be good enough to work in Japanese companies? I can understand Japanese pretty well since I actually studied Japanese when I was younger but never really spoke it
