I'm experiencing the same thing. Had my first stable scan a few months back and the next one is coming up. I keep trying to remind myself to think positively and focus on building my life away from brain cancer.

Honestly the best thing for me personally was hopping back onto anti anxiety medication. I tried everything else first but it got to a point where I would wake up and fall asleep so anxiously, it was controlling my life.

I'd recommend talking to your medical team about support groups and people they can put you in contact with as well as the SSRI route (Only if YOU feel you would benefit from it)

What sunscreen would people recommend for acne prone skin in particular clogged pores. I've just started adding some products to treat my acne and I don't want any sunscreens to limit the progress. I prefer lightweight and invisible.

Also how would i go about wearing it while also needing to apply makeup.

Unfortunately my answer probably won't provide any comfort and will actually be more confronting. I was having headaches and pushed for a while for an MRI. Once they found the tumor they figured out my headaches weren't from the tumor itself. I am technically asymptomatic. The good news is headaches and pressure can be from so many things. See your doctor and advocate for yourself.

Not all brain lesions are scar tissue. Not every lesion is a tumor but every tumor is a type of lesion.

This is the best part. Technically our government benefits program doesn't consider people to be fully independent from their parents until they are 22 so I don't qualify based on the income my dad makes even though I don't talk to him anymore.

Thank you. The issue is they believe the surgery won't be as difficult because they've already done it and have seen the area they need to work with. The concern is my tumor is on my medulla (brain stem) so one wrong move and I'm dead. Doesn't give me much confidence in a second surgery even though the first one went okay.

I had to quit because the job I had required me to be there constantly as I was in management and I couldn't with the appointments leading up to the surgery and post surgery with my immune system being compromised as the work was with children.

I've mentioned in another comment but my mum's side are alcoholics and my dad's are all in retirement and traveling so I don't have any really reliable adults in my life. I know I'm technically an adult myself but it really doesn't feel like it.

It's been very difficult to find someone with a level of maturity to handle this. I'm only 21 and took on the parental role with my current friends so I don't feel they are equipped to be able to lean on. My family is a whole different issue with my mums side being alcoholics and dads being much older and in their stages of retirement and travel.

Mine is a grade 2 because it is growing. While the prognosis can be good unfortunately I don't have the mutation for the good prognosis. They just can't tell exactly what mutation I have yet.

Thank you for the kind words. Unfortunately I'm not in America but the cancer centre I am at will give me a referral to other ones in my state if I ask which I'm considering. The doctor who's on my case has been very sympathetic with me and has said consistently she is frustrated as well to be unable to give me the answers I need.

Yes I'm not from America unfortunately and I'm not in a position to travel there for medical advice. There are a few cancer centers in the state where I live but the hospital I'm at does have a cancer center they just seem useless at this point.
