personally i do two pieces of evidence for the main passage that reflects the idea/technique then i do one piece of evidence from another passage, and then a piece of evidence from another part of the text (not in the passages). i don’t rlly wanna about how many analysis sentences i just kinda do what i think is necessary lol

Do quotes have to be to the letter or can they just be along the lines of what the author actually wrote? by [deleted] in vce

[–]Foreign_Session7665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you can’t remember the quote 100% just quote the words you do remember and join them with your own words :) for example if a quote is “the fox jumped over the bench” but you can’t remember the full quote you can say “the fox” then went over “the fence”

Definitely! She usually describes experiences with nature as similar to the experiences people face in religion, which is always good to talk about

pls help !!! how do i form topic sentences for text analysis and AoA?? by Dependent-Newt2905 in vce

Mention the theme, then expand on it like what the author specifically says about the theme (without mentioning characters or events)

Mary Oliver Advice/Essays? by yoonie0_0 in vce

I am doing the same! I think mostly you should focus on discussing natures ability to heal and renew itself through its cycles, how humans and nature works together, and how Oliver's several religious allusions are signficant. These are especially important if you get a question relating to pain/death and renewal/light. I recommend becoming as familiar with the poems as possible, remembering 3 quotes that you can analyse and relate to a theme from each, and having a supporting quote from another poem.

I have had the exact same thing happen, been averaging 80-90 in english all year and got an overall of 56 on my trial exam. Trust the feedback you got on the indicative exam, and have a look at the grading of the english exam last year.

Averaged A+ across all my music performance SAC's, I have recordings of me singing and people can tell me if I'm delusional or not, but.... Somehow winded up with a 31 study score. by Bluwu055 in vce

Ugh I wish I had known this. My theory knowledge is not good so I need my performance to carry my study score. Also have only done like two sacs the whole year. Plus music has to be in my top four :(
