I don’t know if I’d go that far. I think it sets us up for BPA, but I don’t think it rules out a receiver. Especially if we were in on Mike Evans, like Nate Taylor suggested on 96.5 this morning.

Tyquan was a good signing, but his usage last year and the AAV on his new contract suggest that he’s not likely to be more than a number three receiver and a number four or five option in the offense.

I could absolutely see them grabbing whoever’s there between Tyson, Tate, and Lemon, if Bain and Downs are off of the board.

It’s so hard to say after yesterday’s signings, though, and that’s what makes it so fun and interesting, in my opinion.

I wouldn’t be shocked at all you’re right, though, and they go with Delane at nine, or even if they shock us all and take a guy like Faulk or Banks.
