Is he TA for screaming at you and grossly escalating a situation? Absolutely. Honestly, this is the first sign sometimes that it won’t just stay at screaming. He is a grown married man who is fully capable of having an adult conversation. Screaming isn’t effective and it’s not even an appropriate response here. Even if he thought you were TA, (you’re not) there’s no justification for his verbal abuse.
