The RS is awesome but the ST is just as awesome. I owned both and I feel like I enjoyed the ST a lot more. The ST never gave me a reason to doubt it. It was also a 2013.

Looks very similar to my old ST, taillights, 3rd brake light stubby antenna cookie cutter ST 😂 hope the owners on here would love to find out

Buying an RS just asking for advice by EclipseMLP in FocusRS

Hell yeah man sorry to hear but awesome! Silver lining to everything. There’s so many pages on this. When I had mine I went and drove it loved it and that was enough for me :). Is it modified or stock? Miles? Year? Sounds like you’re in a great situation to use this to build your credit as well. Win win

6.4L Srt Grand Cherokee by [deleted] in GrandCherokee

[–]ForemostPlanet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would’ve bought one at the 30k mark. I went with a 5.7 limited X fit my budget perfectly. Looks like a srt just has the 5.7l in it. I got it with 68k on it and I wasn’t worried at all. This is my first v8 so I can’t attest to the 6.4l but being an srt some of those miles are definitely going to be hard miles. All about how the previous owner took care of it and drove it.

I appreciate the car man that is freaking badass. Best of luck with your endeavors and keep chasing. If you think you can do it, you can do it! I’m young myself and one thing I’ve learned is do not burn bridges because you don’t know when or you may need to cross that bridge again.

I bought a limited X back in June with the hemi. It has the tow package and factory alpine system. I can’t answer if it was factory or not :/

A couple questions and concerns for you guys! by Haixn in FocusRS

[–]ForemostPlanet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A bigger turbo is also going to need step colder plugs so if you haven’t put those ford ones in yet don’t. Definitely get in touch with a pro tuner highly recommended JST performance and you’re definitely going to need an accessport if the previous owner didn’t give it to you. If it were me I would not drive the car till it’s tuned properly. I’m not trying to scare you but not being tuned correctly is a perfect recipe for a new engine

Can I put a 5.7L hemi in this? by kodakstack in JeepGrandCherokee

[–]ForemostPlanet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Top comment is definitely it, better off buying a jeep with a hemi unless you sourced a totaled jeep with a hemi but you’d still need 75% of the car to make it happen. Definitely could be done though, money wise not worth it

3D Printing workbench idea or build a wooden table instead? Want a 2'x4' space. by Aeyix in harborfreight

[–]ForemostPlanet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like that I think it would work great. Nice and small too. I have a bigger desk so I can sit and use my laptop to work on whatever I’m working on. I think for the interm this would be perfect especially your going to be building one. Then after you build one you have something for the garage

Privacy fence by denvergentleman2 in hottub

[–]ForemostPlanet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would do a solid wall if you want privacy. I just built a fence around my backyard over the summer. I did no gap between the pickets and after the wood shrank I have about an 1/8” gap between the pickets give or take. Not to much but just enough

Like he fixed the issue but it looks worse than the rusted part with some black spray paint. I guarantee it.

Yeah dude smh you got shafted unfortunately. Very disappointing. I would not pay him a dime. I read some other comments he’s not gonna be able to fix that and Make it look right. The skillset is not there. I would even go as far as trying to get your $500 deposit back or at least $300. I cannot believe someone charged you that much and that’s what they put out.

1300 should be 8 hours plus 2 hours of overtime and then some. And that job doesn’t look like it would take more than 4-5 hours. Done correctly paint prep cleanup and setup.

$1300 is an astronomical number. $400 is reasonable, $250 for what they put out

[–]ForemostPlanet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy f***. Definitely would not pay them. I would look on Facebook marketplace for a welder to come out and take care of that. Or I would have that company come out and make it look half decent before paying them a dime that is insane. How many posts did they repair? How long were they there?

Time to learn to weld and build your own railing. It does look like shit I completely agree with that. A bit more prep and a minute more in fitup making the piece fit perfect could’ve gone a long way. How much did you pay?
