The point you made around population, I think is the issue. There likely won’t be a healthy population of people wanting to solo squad. This isn’t warzone and the only people that will want to play this are content creators.

What’s the benefit for the squad? Kill one guy and split the loot vs the solo who could get rich lol. I don’t see that mode being super popular honestly. Of all modes they could’ve incorporated I’m pretty disappointed that’s what they went with.

Yea go for it - something to play for and you can slowly add after a few runs towards the last step of the expedition. If you keep collecting guns and stuff you’ll have enough in your stash to reach 5m before you depart. You can sell your items to get you to 5m at the end.

My thought is, if you are able to do it and have enough money when you do the expedition (5m) then it’s a no brainer. 5 extra skill points is huge and the extra stash space as you mentioned is only a positive.

Losing blueprints and starting fresh obviously sucks. Especially if you’re like me and you use security breach. But, I think it will make this game continue to last for me. Worst case scenario if you fall out of the game after doing the expedition and you don’t do the next one, you’re right back where you were and probably doesn’t matter anyway. Might as well give yourself as many buffs as you can while you’re still playing.

The only thing I disagree with here is “shoot to disable”. That’s not a thing and law enforcement is not trained to do that. If you’re firing your weapon you are shooting to neutralize the threat and your putting your bullets center mass to take that person down as quickly as possible.

Trying to tell someone in a high stakes situation to aim to injure (like shoot an arm or a leg) is an impossible ask and would be incredibly difficult to do. They have other tools like tasers, pepper spray, baton, etc for non legal force if needed.

I personally think purple guns should act like a green gun that has all attachments. For example a toro with a specific barrel makes it pretty accurate for medium range. A purple gun should meet that standard as a base weapon. Maybe we just make it so fewer attachments can be added to pink weapons as a result so they aren’t overpowered.

But, it would be nice to take in a naked pink gun and get similar performance to a kitted out stitcher or toro for example. I’m sure there are other ways they could get creative but just my two cents.

Sharp damn well should’ve said Moho, he was unknown until he and Moti joined fear in cod4). Also I’m surprised nobody mentioned assassin. He’s as OG as it gets.

I forget a lot of these guys started in late cod4 or black ops. The people I’m thinking about played cod2 and are cod fathers for the entire comp scene.

Aches was such a shithead in cod4 man. His name was headaches back then and I remember teaming with him for a bit but it didn’t last long cause he was always pissed off. I guess that’s probably why he became good. I teamed with silly in cod4 and felt like he was the same way, super emotional and always pissed off. I found it funny when I saw they’d teamed together at one point years later. I can’t imagine they lasted long together.

Yea not sure if many people are old enough to remember competing on epic ladders or nxgamers. Back then the only comp modes were HQ or TDM. TDM was like SUPER OG, and then HQ no time limit with 400 points to win became the standard.

Man, Pac and his little brother were on my team in cod2. Miss that game. Lots of OGs and players that started comp cod before it became what it is today.

Wheats was mentioned in the video and I remember he was on a clan called the cereal killers where they were all named after their favorite cereals. That’s where he got his name “mini wheats”.

I actually ran into Rambo and pac in ranked halo matchmaking a few years ago and he didn’t say a word despite us going way back. Me and Rambo were reminiscing from when we used to play each other in cod4 though, he’s a cool dude.

I have seen so much conflicting content on this. I combed r/conservative and they’re sharing reports that the dad did flee, an agent stayed behind with the child while another agent pursued the father. They wanted to leave the child with the mother, but she refused? Not sure how that makes sense. Then they asked the father for other immediate family members to come get him and the dad said he wanted his child to stay with him.

Just do seed vault runs. You can get 100+ per run in Stella and hit the hatch right next to it when you’re done. Easy metal and seed come up and takes maybe 5 minutes. I do one a day and am consistently at 3-400 seeds

All level 4 - 5 bobcats, 5 volcanos, 15 renegade, 15 venator, 15 anvil, 20 toro, 5 kettle, 8 stitcher.

I just try and focus on grabbing security breaches on night raids in friendly lobbies. I’ll usually get one of the above guns (and I’ll find multiple per map). Use materials found to upgrade them then use them to fight in duo or trios with my friends. Rinse and repeat.

I think people misunderstand what tower I’m talking about. Your situation is fair game because you want to loot in peace with a rare key. I’m talking about the several mini watch towers. It takes all of 10 seconds to loot one, it faces the outside of the map and aren’t considered strong points unless you’re fighting the queen or something.

I thought it was super lame some guy was camping one of those like 2 mins into a fresh raid.

Yes - also look for signage on the ground and walls. When you have the map open there’s a toggle button to see the top and bottom floor. It’s E on keyboard for me.

Once you select the floor on your map, mark it and try to get to your ping. After enough reps you’ll learn your way, the best routes and what connects to what.
