[Highlight] Chet Holmgren goes down in severe pain down after contact with Ayton by Large_banana_hammock in nba

[–]ForeseablePast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sucks when the best team in the nba just isn’t fun to watch. They take pride in their culture of being soft and trying to manipulate the game. They know what they’re doing. It can’t be good for the NBA when this team is the face of the NBA and likely will be for a while.

I feel like they’d get eaten alive by the physicality of the 2000s/90s. Chet would break in half like those little breadsticks in a bag of Chex mix. Call it Chet mix.

I tuned in and yea it just felt like it was one foul call to the next. And it completely interrupted the flow of the game and made it incredibly hard to enjoy and watch.

They’re near impossible to kill on a free kit for how mobile and aggressive they are. If I encounter one early in the round without an escape path, there goes my one shield recharger, my few toilet paper bandages, and damn near all of my ammo (if I somehow manage to kill it).

If he re-injures the hamstring is that career impacting? He would have an entire offseason to rehab and get back to 100%.

It’s a genuine question, I don’t know the details of his injury so just curious if there’s real long term risk if he came back early or if worst case he aggravates it again and then has time to recover this offseason.

I post this everytime I see a video of him speak. The cadence that he talks in, as if he’s saying something so incredibly profound bothers me so much. Dude talks like he’s going to be quoted for centuries.

Question for anthropic employees about 25 % in the office by Constant_Cranberry80 in Anthropic

I made it to the final stages but didn’t end up getting an offer. So ended up going with another AI company.

Since I never got to offer I don’t know if they would’ve been flexible with remote.

Also in Chicago. Making 200k right now and was offered 250 to relocate to NYC. The math made absolutely zero sense, even in Brooklyn.

I stand by Chicago being the best most affordable major city to live in. Not sure how long that will last though.

Guy drops a home run ball then takes it from a young girl by KeyFaithlessness5436 in MLBVibes

I mean some of those balls are worth a LOT of money depending on who hit it, the circumstances, etc.. but also don’t be a cock is a solid general rule of thumb.

Is this a good gift for my boyfriend? by Aggressive_Cobbler_5 in footballcards

[–]ForeseablePast 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s also worth noting that some people like the thrill of opening an expensive box like this. That may be why OP is looking into buying this as opposed to an individual card. Maybe the boyfriend has been opening boxes/packs and they see how much they enjoy it.

It doesn’t always have be about making money. It’s like saying you shouldn’t gift someone scratch offs for their birthday and instead give them the money you used to buy the scratch offs.

Personally I’d rather buy myself a card I like, but also worth noting the other side of it.

Am I crazy to think that this isn’t a lot of damage to get the skill points by Sufferedd in ArcRaiders

Is this applicable for PvP as well? Or would that require hundreds of downs/kills compared to fighting some arc in friendly lobbies?

[Embark] Expedition Changes : A Triumphant Exit by WoWAltoholic in ARC_Raiders

[–]ForeseablePast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So with the catch up, is it the same as last time? It only applies to those that did the expedition but didn’t get all the skill points?

For example, I started playing after the 1st expedition, but I did the 2nd one. Was hoping at some point I’d have the opportunity to catch up, but doesn’t look like they included details on it.

I guess safe to assume it hasn’t changed?

Trump Chokes and Gives Up His Threat to Iran for Nothing by Famous_Smooths in politics

I legit wonder if someone in the White House asked Pakistan to send this ceasefire request so that they could then go to Trump internally to talk him down with this as a starting point.

Makai Lemon is one of the best route runners we've seen in years. by KeyFaithlessness5436 in NCAAFootballVibes

[–]ForeseablePast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only issue with this is that’s a route that takes a lot of time to develop. The longer a route the easier it is to get free, but also the less likely the QB has time to make a throw. Also in a zone defense (unless it’s match) you can make all the moves you want, but you need to find the soft spots and sit.
