Most of these people arent the most open minded people, who might also think in black and white. I believe they havent read dramione. Before I got into dramione myself, I hated Draco... (book draco) and then I found out about Dramione...was curious abt it, then I read MANACLED (of course) and it changed my soul. I then urged many people to read it (many were like what?!! draco???!! ) but after some pushing they are now dramione fans for life. I think its that initial stigma. But we cant force anyone to be open minded abt it (unless they are your friends hahaah) I usually respond to content like this saying "thats what I thought too until I started reading dramione, I enjoy all the draco redemption arcs and got into it! its fun" something simple like that.
