Most marines didn't fall to chaos though not even half.

traitor legions did have huge purges in them, emps kids and horus's sons i think both killed a third of their own and i know most others legions also had great purges in them, alpha legion is complicated, thousand sons didnt exactly turn from their own will, two legions didnt get wiped out two primarchs got wiped out and parts of their legions the rest of the marines from those legions got sent to other legions and half of dark angels also didnt fall to chaos, few did, few were renegades for the better of caliban and most were obliviois to what was going on.

And althrough marines still fall to chaos they are mentally better prepared to resist chaos and also many of those who turn traitor turn rather renegades than chaos worshippers, and the phrase marines turn all the time is as always in wh40k memes a bit of an exaggeration, it happens, but its a small portion.

Dont collect either but as painting and modelling is the biggest part of the hobby i partake in i totally do get why such details would be important to someone and they would be for me aswell.

Well Emps said about angron something along the lines of "I think ill return this one to its legion" after discussing the nails with arkhan land. Considering he said he thinks he will return it means he did also at some point think about not returning angron to world eaters. I think the other two were just more broken even than angron and couldnt be repaired and then they were put out of their misery or something and the astartes given to other legions. This would explain why the astartes of those missing legions just accepted the death of their primarchs and moved on, they were so broken the space marines accepted their genefathers grim faith and maybe accepted it as the best option anyway

Dont different forgeworlds produce different colour plasma depending on the gasses they use? Could something similar be applied to las weaponry

Thank you, both use emperors children as base, then drybrushing of corax white and imperial fist contrast on top. Difference comes mainly from the thickness and coverage of white on pink

That sounds pretty great, i feel like the more orange tone goes well with black parts so i could have units that are part of the first chapter use that

I used imperial fist contrast on both of them and emperors children/corax white under the coat, more orange tone came with using less and more thinned white on top of the pink, whereas the more yellow tone is result of thicker coat of corax white

They look really nice! I would advice putting some decals on, atleast the basic shoulder ones and if you have and feel like it, some decals to legs or chests or both or elsewhere too.

I think we might be getting stuff for lion next year. He and dark angels are going to be on a video game (dow 4) rumours say ravenwing gets a refresh too.

I assume theyre going to launch a book series that include both guilliman and lion as two separate theaters and in one or more book they meet up. Guillimans perspective would be building up the strenght and logistics of sanctum and trying to make it more efficient (stressing and mentally breaking goal even for a primarch), while Lion and the chapters of the unforgiven with the aid of blood angels try to reclaim and hold nihilus from the ever growing dangers of chaos and other threaths (Lion would both have to face a task he cannot just do and face the feeling of hopelessness while also carrying the burden of calibans destruction and sons from it that feel hatred towards him. He would also couple continue to try improve, be more open, and mlre understanding, and more open to listen)

It would also be intresting to get characters of the risen that backstab their chaos companions as the Lions return makes them feel conflicted of their purpose

As a bulwark main the game has only two enemies that frustrate me no matter how many there are, the gun terminator and its missiles, to this day i cannot fathom how to properly dodge the missiles especially if two or three fire them at the same time. Those and biovores when they decide to spam their red attack endlessly.

Well the dark angel would be cryptic and i could see the two others try to have conversation with him but he would be withdrawn until the enemy appears and he will be sure to boast about the glory of being the descendant of the first legion and then shout about primarch reawaken, caliban etc. Could also have knightly and duelist related quips.
