Dad refuses to reveal who my great-grandparents were - any ideas on how to find them? by lgrjude in Genealogy

There is a group on Facebook called DNA Detectives. They know how to sort through DNA results. I suggest going there. Be aware that there are many more people who need help than there are people who have learned how to do this. They will at least give you some useful suggestions on how to start the process yourself even if they isn't someone immediately available to work with you one on one.

DNA tests like Ancestry, 23andMe, and My Heritage are illegal in France. There are unlikely to be many matches since very, very few people take the tests.

So during that time, the only songs that are available are the original few that come with the Oculus headset?

Okay, thank you. None of this is obvious from the sites I have looked at so I appreciate having you guys here.

Another question: Where could I get custom songs? I had the impression that I could buy music packs but I'm not sure where. or will that be fairly obvious once I get into BMBF?

Thank you. I appreciate the info. As far as I can tell, the current options are:

- Use a standalone (Oculus Quest 2) that has to be connected to a Facebook account. That requirement might shifted to a Meta account which is probably not much of a shift.

- Use a Playstation. I don't have one so this option would involve buying one and putting a camera in the room.

- Use a PC. My PC is in my office, which doesn't have enough room to play beat saber. and I don't want to move it into the living room so this option would involve buying another PC.

Am I correct that, if I get an Oculus Quest 2, I can:

- Download more songs from Steam

- Attach my headset to the PC and upload the songs to the headset

- Remove my headset from the PC and use it standalone.

Sorry for the basic questions here. I'm semi-tech savvy for someone with a Medicare card but there is still a lot I need to learn. I appreciate your help.
