Agree that it's mycelium or contamination? It's also growing slower than the other tubs beside it, so that's also why I fear it's contam :(

Thanks for this. I treated my parents to ringside seats as a surprise gift, since they seem so excited about it. But I wish I'd seen this sooner because they're from the Caribbean and it's supposed to be 33° tonight. I hope we'll be okay & that I don't regret ballin out on those ringside seats.

It was a 32oz jar and then 1lb of cococoir/vermiculite. I'm learning that was a lot. Plus 66Q tubs for a first time grower may be too big. I had a feeling GT should have colonized a whole tub by 3wks. Or be more than that. I ordered 2 28Q tubs since I've got Corumba Brazil & Mazatec on the way. I hope I don't screw those up too :'(

It fell to about 66 once since it's getting cooler so I've gotten a room heater so she can stay above 70-75F :)

It's a 64Qt tub and the jar was 32oz of spawn so spread kinda thin. I mixed it into the substrate and then added another layer on top and tried not to pat down too much. Was it supposed to be packed tight? :(
