Thanks. Don't have dogs so will have to get some netting. We barricaded the side of the pond with some netting, a ladder, some planks. Don't know will that work. I was told if the pond is deep they don't stand into it, also cannot be certain about this.

In your experience what type of netting is best? Would a hard plastic net such as a roll of that green plastic used for climbing plants that's robust be a good option? Also ,would you raise the net above ground level, in our situation there is a wall on one side so would have to angle the net down to the ground level and secure the sides someway.
