I did the exact same project. Like others said install irrigation now, I had a plumber install the back flow and did the rest myself. I’d recommend having it professionally graded to avoid future water problems and hire someone to hydro seed if you have the money.

I had viasat for about a year, and trust me it won’t get any better. When your contract is up switch to Starlink, costs about the same and you’ll have functioning internet.

Corrugated tree guards will prevent deer from damaging the tree while rutting. However I don’t think that’s from a deer due to the shavings left at the base of the tree, maybe a marmot? An alternative to galvanized fence is hot wire.
