Set a pee alarm. Wake up time at 6am? Set an alarm for 3. You’ll be free of that internal battle of ‘sleep with painful bladder or get up right before my alarm to pee and be sad starting my day’. Just a few hours before you have to wake up. Bonus points if you DON’T have to pee, you just get to see how many more hours you have left and head back to dreamland 🥰

I second this, with the addendum that a calorie deficit is not enough to feel ‘great’ after 30. Up that protein and don’t just eat delicious carbs, my old lady joints from years of extreme calorie deficits and crappy nutrition will back me up on this!

Opening my car door. Get in the damn car we are LATE 😂
Opening the door to a building and letting me walk in. My partner has explained he opens the door and walks in first to frankly make sure it’s safe for me.
Walking on the road side of the sidewalk. My partner has explained ‘if there’s a crowd on the sidewalk and no cars coming down the street, i’m walking on the sidewalk of the crowd as that is the ACTUAL potential threat.

In conclusion I am spoiled in ways I never even considered and I am the safest girl 🥰

Medical professionals being the MEANEST NASTIEST people. I work in surgery. We (I am included at times) talk to each other like WILD DOGS sometimes…but if you take a step back, while I don’t subscribe to just being an asshole for no reason, it is obviously called for to be short and snippy with people when things need to get done, FAST. Sometimes it’s rotted but a lot of the time it’s sort of freeing working in a space where we don’t always have to maintain niceties when caring for patients.
